  1. Here mate: http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/tutorials/article/74-is200-tracking-settings/
  2. Sounds normal to me. My 2002 IS200 isn't a very good example but my other car, a Yaris is the same and gives higher than actual figures
  3. All cars mpg read-outs give a slightly higher reading than what the car is actually doing
  4. Hi Guys, Are the IS200 tracking settings that are in the how to guides the WIM settings or the original factory settings? I've tried to copy paste them but for some reason I can't.
  5. Matt, will I actually need a bypass valve though? From what I understand if I don't have one then the car will always be on boost so how would I need to set up the bypass and where do I need to get one from?
  6. My dad's merc makes a similar noise on braking. I believe its something to do with the electronic brakeforce distribution.
  7. It's easy enough to change the oil. I've used Comma oil in mine and it's been great. Do you know of a step by step guide anywhere to do it??
  8. Has anyone got their auto box serviced yet? Was it easy to change the oil and which oil did you use?
  9. Is the bypass actually required for the supercharger? If you have a DIY one then what's the alternative?
  10. Hey everyone, just thought I'd revive this thread as I still havent managed to get hold of any centre caps. Does anyone have any available please? I need 2 now. As long as they fit the 18" TTE Grand Prix wheels I think I'll be happy.
  11. Is anyone going to this? Are we going to have a stand this year?
  12. bump again.....anyone?
  13. I used to be with Sky insurance and paid £600 fully comp with 2yrs NCB then I renewed with them for £665 with 3yrs NCB but then 10months into the policy they cancelled the policy without any notice and said that they had been told I'd moved when I hadnt moved. Anyway, they wouldnt reinstate the policy and wouldnt even give me an extra yrs NCB and all they refunded me was £50! I'm now with Admiral and they were the cheapest coming in at £777 and thats with my 3yrs NCB. I wont be going with Sky again as they totally ripped me off and left me uninsured for well over a month until I checked askmid one day and my car came up uninsured. I've always paid my insurance in full as well... I'm 29 by the way now....
  14. thanks for the info fil but I managed to get some replacement hose from andrew page ltd in stockport. as for getting it from a breakers, I tried a1 jap in failsworth and they wanted £50 for the entire cooler part including rubber hoses which is too much so thats why I tried to get the hoses on their own and luckily I was able to get a meter for less than £8. I've had trouble fitting the replacement hose though so my mechanicis coming to fit it for me on tuesday.
  15. matt, I rang pirtek yesterday morning and they werent able to help. they said they dont supply and would only try to repair it then they quoted me a silly amount as well. Anyway, yesterday I managed to get the hose off and went to andrew page stockport and managed to get a meter of hose from them. Its reinforced fuel hose so I assume it should be ok and also looks exactly the same as the original one but after trying for hours I could get the hose on properly. Its an utter nightmare to get on but going to try again this afternoon. The trick is a put a little cut at the ends to open them up a bit and to also warm the hose in boiling water to soften it. The bit that I managed to get on yesterday is a bit too short so has ended up kinked a bit so I'm going to cut a longer length and try again. Btw, for reference its a 10mm fuel hose that will work and costs just under £8. I'll keep you updated.
  16. thanks for the info matt. what type of hose should I be looking for?
  17. Went out to my car this morning and was warming it up a bit when I saw a puddle underneath the front bumper. I popped the bonnet to notice a leak from I think one of the power steering pipes which runs along the drivers side just in front of the rad behind the grill. I think its one of the rubber pipes but lexus state that you can only get the full kit which is the metal pipes and rubber ones as the system loops back on itself. Anyway, if anyone in manchester can help me out either tomorrow or saturday it would be much appreciated. I really need either the rubber pipes or the full kit asap so if anyone knows anyone who may be breaking a car and if anyone can help me fit them it would be great as I need to get the car back on the road and dont really want to be driving it like this. Really hope someone can help me. Thanks in advance guys. :)
  18. bump.....has anyone got one please?
  19. If I hadnt already bought my lip last year then would take these off you straight away..
