Just out of interest what type of bulbs are used in the headlights? Are they H4? After having a quick look at my car I'm guessing they arent H4 I think as main beam is seperate from dipped so whats what please? Also, with the HID kits, are they all only dipped? Is there any versions which have dipped and main beams? Think its called bi zenon?

Sorry, but I can't believe that price. Lexus would charge that for the carboard box it comes in. £100 seems reasonable to me for used bumper + grille Thats what I was thinking as well coz I'm sure I got a quote for over £200 for a bumper from lexus.

Hmm when I rang lexus they told me a much higher price for a new one. Btw, if anyones wondering why I need the bumper, its coz my car has light front damage which I'm trying to sort out.

I've been offered a mint IS200 front bumper for my car with grill but the person wants £100. It doesnt come with the headlight washer sprayers etc but otherswise it seems mint. How much should I pay?

Hmm well I went on the opie oils site and they recommend a different grade so I dont know what to do. What does it say in the lexus owners book as I havent got one unfortunatly. Btw, the cars done only 14k ;)

Is the resonator on the IS200 removable as from what I can tell the one on mine has broken off and I cant put it back on. Can someone help me please?

Hey everyone! Seeing as I'm new to lexus ownership, when I get the car on the road I need to carry out a full service so can someone tell me which oil to use please? Is it 10W 40? Also will any other fluids need to be changed?

Its arrived!!! Although I aint home at the moment I've been told that my car has been delivered but on further inspection when my brother tried to lock the car he's told me that the passenger side front door isnt locking at all. He's tried locking it manually from inside and it still wont lock. Can someone tell me what this problem might be so I can solve it and would I be able to fix it myself? I'm guessing its just a old skool cable issue where the locking pin is connected with a hook and the hook has come off?

thanks for all the kind messages people. seems like a really nice place you all have here. I havent had much luck finding parts today but hopefully will be able to find some soon. I'll need quite a bit of help of you lot though to confirm bits on the car and make sure nothing is missing. Car should be arriving in the morning so fingers crossed!

hi there everyone! newbie here! I'm Rehan from manchester and am currently a honda civic driver but just bought an 52 plate IS200 SE Auto yesterday. With only 14k on the clock its as new but the only problem is that it has very light front damage so I'll be looking for a lot of help on the forums in order to put the car back on the road asap. As far as I know the parts I need are: bonnet, front bumper, drivers side headlight, and drivers side wing.If anyone has any of these parts then could they please get in touch with me. Also how much should these parts cost? Hope to see u all at a show soon!
