  1. A very good turbo kit at that, having been in the car!!
  2. Personally I have always stuck with Lenovo and Acer.
  3. Lovely car. Worth the money IF you want to have a turbo IS200 with all the work already done, cheaper than doing it yourself considering what this car has. The standard diff is well capable of taking 300BHP.
  4. Was it on empty for a long time? I only ask because mine always sticks if left empty for over a week or so, after a couple of fills it goes back to normal again.
  5. Going to look at doing it my self. just the manifold is 800£! i dont really want to break the bank! Get it mapped properly, from the conversation we had yesterday reliability is all down to correct mapping and set up.
  6. Wait until SPC Horsham have developed their IS200 turbo upgrade from what I saw yesterday they are making huge progress in converting a standard engine to turbo without breaking it - and making very good HP.
  7. Are they clearing repos on a trade to trade basis? still dodgy though, no land line number for a start before even reading t&c's.
  8. No land line number, not a member of any trade union etc Llooks very dodgy indeed.
  9. Clearly sorry to see this post, an incident EXACTLY the same happened in Luton where a driver moved out of the way to let an ambulance through, he was prosecuted and the court refused the mitigating evidence.
  10. Truly bad. Most browsers have spell check as you type so you don't make a fool of your self!!
  11. I have the same camera and the fuse holder is poor, it all looks OK but was faulty, a dry joint on the solder. Worth bridging the fuse holder and seeing if that helps.
  12. The only real nightmare on my conversion was getting the rev counter to work properly, the Lex is 6cyl and my engine is 4 cyl so it was under reading by 1/3. Apart from that they sorted out the electrics without much of a problem. Other things have had to be modified post completion but everything is fine now!!
  13. looking well. just a question about reposition horns. where do people bolt them on?? Mine are under the front O/S wing now.
  14. just buy my IS200 and then you have all the power you will need to beet the chav cars and embarrass some seriously quick cars in the process :P It will drift but you gotta turn the race logic TC off or you just don't slide even when you want to.
  15. Well done Steve, bet you have some serious sleep to catch up on!!!
  16. I stab and cut people with needles and scalpels for a living.
  17. Spend the money on a set of ARB's. Remapping for 15BHP is barely worth the price IMHO. If you go ahead get a BHP figure before and after, so you know what has been gained.
  18. Its all in the thread Bazza. It is now well "run in" and was going to be raced at the pod and a power figure obtained on the rollers but things didn't quite work out that way though. Next time? Just for the record it was quicker than a standard 2002 Scooby STi 0 to 100, gives you some idea what it can do.
  19. Thats life. Swapping the UK for a sunny country, work 5 months take 7 months off, sacrificing a car is no hardship :D Good buy Rip Off Britain. hello sun, sea, sand. I have worked far to hard for to many years and made enough £'s to semi retire IF this deal goes through not bad far a 34 year old.
  20. Sorry just letting Prolex spout off for a bit, not worth entering into a conversation with him. Car is 100% perfect and is just going in for its MOT. No dyno chart because only an idiot would dyno a NEW engine with a NEW clutch. Best to let it bed in first before a dyno session. All the leading tuners recommend this, in fact THOR refused to dyno it because the engine is so new. There are plenty of vehicles running 3sGTE's with 300+ power, I went for a ride in one only last week - 348bhp on standard internals and been at that power 2 years now, we have said FROM THE START this is an ESTIMATE I would be happy with 280 to 300. The car is in fact FOR SALE RIGHT NOW (I have bought a new business and could do with the money - and it is a LONG way from the UK so running a heavily modded car which only does 30-35mpg on a run is probably not wise, PX considered) so if you want to buy it Dave and dyno it yourself go for it, you wont believe the price I will let her go for. I am in the UK for this week and then away for a week in the sun contract signing............. TGT have the car at the moment as they are sorting the MOT.
  21. an N/A MR2 gets far better MPG than an IS200, having had one for the 3 months early this year.
