    Good stuff . They might also have had the radio on as well as the interior lights . One hour of that I would think would drain most batteries.

    Maybe Halfords did the work with the doors open / interior lights being left on and drained battery?

    Try the East Neuk of Fife . Coastal towns including Elie , St Monans , Pittenweem , Anstruther , Crail , St Andrews . Some decent scenic harbours , great beaches and plenty decent cafes . Definitely try the fish and chips in Anstruther .

    Lexus dealer carried out some kind of software update and that seemed to sort the issue but like I said above my wife had lost confidence in the car so it was traded in a month later . Hope that helps .

    I am pretty sure that the heatshields now have to be in place as part of the MOT - so best to re-fit with over sized washers as suggested above .

    Prefer 4 doors although the 2 doors maybe look slightly better. The mpg is not so bad if you think of the fun factor . Totally depends on how you would use it . I work from home 95% of the time and have another car so won’t be running up a silly mileage on the Maserati although at the moment it is hard to walk past it and drive anything else on my drive . Potential scary bills yes but the way I look on it is it has probably done all of its depreciation to offset that slightly. The ISF is not immune to potential big bills either - albeit less likely .

    There are a few common issues that seem to affect most of them but almost a week now and enjoying the experience so far . If you are seriously looking at any point in future drop me a message and I will try and give you the benefit of the research I did .

    Good to hear a positive experience ! It certainly has attracted a lot of attention and seems to get a lot more heads turning than the ISF ever did -not saying that's necessarily a good thing - I liked the stealth factor with the ISF . Will be interesting to see how it does compare longer term .

    Yes it is a late 2007 pre facelift Sport GT with auto 6speed ZF box - not the duo select .

    After selling my ISF last year I have been running about in a wee Toyota starlet turbo - which I love but needed a bigger car for occasional use and longer journeys so after much research and swallowing a few brave pills took the step into Maserati ownership .

    I have a genuine Lexus one that was in my 2009 rx450h . I no longer have the car and am happy to clear a space in my garage so free for pick up in Fife .

    That is shocking bahavour from Lexus taking a deposit then selling to someone else . Hope the RCF works out for you .

    It was great . Traffic was quiet but we did go on 18th July which was only 3 days after lockdown restrictions were lifted so I think we struck it lucky due to people that had maybe planned to do it but had cancelled with all the uncertainty there was at that time . I was amazed at the Road surfaces generally being very good condition despite a lot of them being single track . Barely any potholes - puts the roads elsewhere in Scotland to shame .

    It's a great trip . I did it this summer too but took a week . Is the last picture looking towards Kishorn from the Applecross Road . .? Nice looking sc430 too .
