Hey everybody, I've got a bit of an aesthetic problem lol...I've got a 1998 Toyota Aristo and well I've got a Lexus grille on the front with the Toyota Badges all around in the rear. At the least it's not my preference to have it like this...I'd rather the car had the Toyota badge. Anybody know where I can pick up the actual Toyota badge for the front grille on the Aristo or any Lexus GS300? From what I can see it's a straight replacement is it not? Thanks, Mitul.

Hello everybody, So far this forum has been nothing but GREAT! Just another question though :). I've got a HKS Super SQV Dump-valve on the way for the Aristo from Japan. I'm just wondering has anyone installed a dump valve on this car themselves? It's a JZ161. If you have any help would be GREATLY appreciated :). Thanks, Mitul. PS: I've also got a APEXi Induction Kit coming in as well, looking at making a custom carbon fibre enclosure for it myself so watch this space ;).

I don't know what the cause of the steering moving like that is...but in the Aristo I bought the steering rack doesn't move around like that whatsoever no matter how much you force it (considerable force) :)

Hello everybody! Just thought I'd post this on here since the Aristo has TV Facilities yet doesn't work here in the UK :(...BUT I think I might have found a solution from Australia. http://www.highway.net.au/parts/converters/1795.html I'm looking at picking one up before the end of this year and having a fiddle with it in the car...IF anyone knows where the "box" / "brain" for the TV in the Aristo is I'd greatly appreciate it :). Hope this helps people out a bit when looking for a NTSC <> PAL Converter. Mitul.

He means a MK1 :) I've just recently bought a MKII Aristo V300 Vertex for my parents 25th...I can tell you one thing...everyone who has seen it so far has been nothing but impressed. BTW Welcome to the forum even though I'm new to the forum too :).

Goodluck tomorrow...although I've got a mate who's mother owns a RAV4 and it's a pretty good motor although a huge step down from a Lex IMHO, but if anything still a good motor :).

Gareth thanks for the number I will definitely be giving you a call tomorrow. BTW it's the Serpentine belt I'm after not the cambelt sorry for any confusion this might've caused :). Paul, just wish there were more people out there like yourself and Syd :). The car will definitely be looked after, only doing a few little mods like Apexi Induction kit and HKS SSQV Blow-off valve and maybe some sort of Brake upgrade like the Black Diamond stuff recommended by Yoshi to Syd on a previous thread. Apart from that I don't plan on doing anything to it until I've got the whole engine rebuilt with forged pistons and rods which will be quite a while (2-3 years maybe more). However I intend on having the parents keep this car for some time to come as they are totally in love with it as well.

Hello people, I've bought Tempo's Aristo for my parents for their 25th Anniversary. Let's just say they are the happiest I've seen them in a long while. Also Tempo aka Syd was VERY patient and VERY VERY friendly and helpful. Thumbs up for Tempo/Syd. Now I'm looking at getting the car serviced and the fanbelt seems to be on its way out. Now I've searched the internet and LOC UK and so far I can't find anything. Anyone know where I can get a fanbelt? Need it ASAP! Thanks in advance, Mitul.

It's basically a piggypack ECU...it works by manipulating the ECU's values (i think). Also the gains mostly depend on the mods you've got done ie: breathing & Turbo (if done) mostly. I'd also take a look at the Apexi AFC. Both are supposed to be on a similar sort of level...also see if you can get a harness or something or the other made for the AEM Piggyback (forgot what it's called). Is that graph from a stock Altezza? Or is it modified?

I've read it and PM'd him although from your PM I understand he hasn't got Internet access at the moment, I've also spoken to him on the phone but due to unforeseen circumstances I had to delay a tad (grandmother in hospital with me on my own looking after her for four weeks). In other words you could call me one of the timewasters lol. Umm, I'm ready to pounce on that car for 8,500 (as offered on his thread), but the only thing holding me back is the mileage. I've sure enough done my research but how would the overall mileage affect the turbo's? I mean I do want this car to give me loads of troublefree miles as I don't really want to buy my parents anything that they have to dish out like 2-3000 pounds to have repaired. Not judging the maintenance of the car or putting it down...just doing research. I hope this question isn't seen as being offensive. If the mileage is not that significant on wear/tear on the engine and other components (engine-related) then I'm definitely up for buying the car although I have to get the current car sold which is an old Honda Accord (1989) JDM with popup lights (Saloon). If someone could tell me I'd really appreciate it :). Mitul.

Hi everyone, I'm pretty newish to the board although I've done quite a bit of research on the V300. I'm planning on buying it for my parents on their 25th Anniversary. Although I'm having a hard as hell time finding one. Isn't it just weird that when I do have the money to buy one I can't find one? :( Anyways I'm looking at a maximum of £10,000, saw one on Autotrader which is sold more or less :(. I just hope I can find one really soon (before end of October). Anyone know of anyone, or a place where I can look? Thanks, Mitul.
