  1. i did custom ones with some lens from a set of broken lights and halo rings
  2. well the price sounds about right, and everybody will tell you it's a long hard process to make it all come together but worth it in the end, a pic of mine from last year, has had a lot changed out over the last year to bring it up to what i want it to look like, next on my list is larger brakes this month, new rear bumper to fit and spray, more boost and bigger wheels
  3. i'm not but i do get to work faster than when i drive the corolla verso. was going for a 500 bhp build but not 100% sure that that will go ahead. i think if you wanting to do a turbo build then save up plenty of money to get it done right, there are still loads of things i did not list, like boost controller, turbo timer, oil catch tank, and more you have a few other options, 1g gte engine swap, mk3 supra double turbo with 210 basic but easy up and over 300 with a boost controller, i just sold my one complete but they do come up from time to time on ebay, 2jz gte engine swap, supra mk4, twin turbo with 350 bhp, easy to pust higher, 2jz from a gs300 or other toyota/lexus engine and then a turbo kit for more power. v8 monster like a guy in the usa, took a corvet engine and gearbox and shoe horned it into his is300, but what ever you do think that this will cost a bit to fit and fix, make sure you have the funds to finnish the job as if you have to sell you loose about half of the costs, know of one or 2 that hit this wall when getting all the bits ready for a install.
  4. well i have done this, now running 320bhp on a standard engine with no problems at all. i would say to you how much power are you after. easy way is to find a charger for 2000 pounds or so and with a hour or 2 you can run 200 + bhp turbo involves a lot more first you will need to put a oil return into the sump so that means removing the sump and welding a fitting to it. you will need a big shopping list of parts injectors turbo intercoller fuel ´return lines and fittings wastegate bov pipping and silcone hoses piggyback ecu or stand alone ecu manifold new exhaust boost gauge, oil temp gauge and air/fuel gauge lots of time and a extra car to use
  5. i also have one here that i broke up for testing, it's all still working, what is it you need
  6. i can tell you that they have different plugs, is200 has 1 plug and the is300 has 2 plugs, but if you go on ebay usa you will find only is300 gauges as they never had the is200
  7. yes is300 units are like the late is200 units with a hid unit in the base, these units go for 100 dollars or more each, you can use 200 lights but you will need to fix them to work on normal bulbs and not hids, or buy aftermarket hids for them.
  8. i'm guessing you have an import altezza and that is why you want the bumper as like ormi says the is200 dont fit the is300. but i still think it's better to get one from a dealer, i priced one up at around 350 pounds but i have a discount from my job on this
  9. why not just order one from your local lexus / toyota dealership. will be better if it gets broken in transit, check it before you pay for it.
  10. i have just used dr colour chip, must say am happy with the stuff, have spent 3 hours on my car and had stone chipe right down to the metal, will seal it up after i have finished so it lasts as most people that have used it say after 10 or more washes it needs fixing again as there was no sealing on it
  11. here are mine but i brought ready made lights but i did do the custom fog halo units myself
  12. check with toyota dealer as the seats might have airbags and they use a company that does seat covers for chairs that have airbags in them, i brought a set a while back that had this from toyota
  13. i got the complete set with fan washes on them, removed as the intercooler took the space for them
  14. i think they are the type that lock on under the door jam and just sit on the roof, a bit like these http://www.micksgarage.co.uk/proddetails.aspx?pid=92009&pk=469AF but dont take my word for it as i've never fitted roofbars to my car just seen them for sale
  15. well we can start with the fact the turbo blew apart last month so a new one is being fitted so while it's off the road i have done some more upgrades, first was a hks bov black and new piping/fittings for this, next was the gauges, i have brought 3 plx dm100 displays 1 of them an obdII unit and have all six sm units, afr/ait/boost/oil pressure/oil temp/water temp/egt and have made custom screens for 3 sm units and start up screens, next was to spray the badges black to match the car new 20" wheels and tyres then to add a APEXI AVC-R Boost Controler have now got myself a 17" spare wheel from a corolla verso ( spacesaver type) and will remove my fullsize one and build a custom amp box in the space i have over.
  16. sorry mate i miss read the post, i can get a set of 66,1 to 58,6 and then you can sand them down to make them 60,1
  17. i can order them and post them to you, we have them here at work but i live in sweden so let me know but there is a set on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Set-Spigot-Rings-Reduce-bore-size-67-1-60-1-/160573018598?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2562e5d1e6
  18. remember the tank is in 2 parts one left and one right with the drive shaft in the middle of the car. find out what side is broken.
  19. i did mine last year and you can get toyota ones that are longer. will se if i can find the part number for them. cost me about 50 pounds for the 20 of them if i remember right.
  20. sounds like you have the wrong et on your wheels mate. i run 20" wheels with 8.5 on the front and 9 on the back with 225/30/20 tyres and have no problems at all and have the car down 40mm on tte springs so there must be something wrong with your et. so i think check how bad it is by getting a few big guys in the back and see how bad it is. if you shopped them without help then sell them or roll your arches but if they were sold to you saying they would fit your car go back and complain till they replace them
  21. they are very small smd type leds and if your not that handy with a soldering iron then leave it alone or find a replacment radio for it
  22. yes mate 16" is the smallest because of the brakes. yes you can buy some nice summer wheeels and tyres and keep the oem wheels for winter.... but they are known to oxide pretty bad and might not be the best with salt etc on the roads. i live in sweden and winter tyres are a must. these are my winter ones for this year.. 18" with conti cvc5 on. and last years summer ones...20" will be getting new summer ones soon and new winter ones next year
