take the same size as summer tyres if your using 17" wheels. so 215/45/17 and you need all 4 as having grip on the back is as bad as having to wheels at all on the front. think like this. great grip on the rear and turning into the corner with no grip at all you will just go the way the rear wheels are going. and if you can get 205/55/16 as they are cheaper.... i live in sweden and winter tyres are on all cars over here by law

any of these will fit on the is200. best to find somw steel toyota wheels

i run 225/40/18 propper winter tyres here in sweden. you can get every size of tyre if you go to the right place

i went that route with a kit from the is300. must say that you can make it wotk but your better off just getting all the bits. most of it will need some sort of work. turbo will need work to change the housing size as it wont spool up till 5000rmp. so buy the right stuff first time and save money and time. as everybody say's go sell your car and buy one thats more to your needs. even look at importing a rs200 from japan

we have to have winter tyres on over here so no chance of drifting.but if you have the money to get winter tyres then go with conti cvc5. no joke they are just the best. i'm putting 250 bhp down in the snow and ice and not a slip or slide. best winter tyres i ever had. find yourself so cheep steel rims and shop some 205/55/16 conti cvc5. ( conti winter contact 5) i run 225/40/18 cvc5 and of 18" winter tyres they stick like glue

there are a few engines that fit but all come with there own problems. the 1g gte twin turbo fits straight in and can use the 1gfe gearbox but you will need the ecu and wiring loom. the 3gs3 will need the same and a gearbox.the 1jz and 2jz need engine mounts and lots of body work to make them fit.

and there are 2 poppers at the bottom of the door card.if you feel along the bottom you will find a place to grab

i always run mine on -40 as thats what we have at work. smells bad but does the job. even had that freeze up last year when it was -36 and wind chill was -46. was on the way up to santa land in finland the day before xmas. wow that was cold and the first snow has fallen here in sweden

here is a how to i wrote for these LED SCUFF PLATES HOW TO I take no responsibility for any damage you may do to your car so please take your time and check everything is working and correct. This is just to help you fit them and may not be 100% correct. Tools needed for this are Multi meter Phillips screwdriver and flat screwdriver Cordless screwdriver Solider iron or cable clamps and crimpers 3 m duel wire. Red / black Silver ( gaffa) tape Ok so you have your plates and screws for them and you’ve got you 2 led panels and 2 inverters and all the tools you need. First thing to do is remove the old scuff plates sitting on the car, these are held in place with some poppers under the sill plate. If you take a flat screwdriver and slide it under (be careful not to scratch you paint) you will find the poppers holding the plate in place and you just need to lift them up a bit till the come away. Cleaning the surface so the is no dirt trapped under the new plates. So take your plate and turn it over and you will see the channel cut out for the panel. Here you will fix your led panel in place with some gaffa tape to hold it in place. Then you need to put it in the right place in the door so you cover the holes and it sits square. Next you will need to fix the plates in place. The screws you have are self tapping screws so all you need to do id drill them in. Next you will need to remove the cover strip along the door. This just pops off so flat screwdriver in the corner and lift it up. Now you need to fix the wires for this over the rubber door seal and the passenger side can be hidden under the seat and the drivers side can be hidden in the fuse box in the corner. Next is to remove the instrument gauge cover. Here there are 3 screws There is one more at the bottom of the plastic to remove. Next is to remove the cover. This is held in place with a few clips that just hold it in place. And then you will need to disconnect the switches on the cover And now you should have something like this. Now you need to disconnect the battery for the next part. You will see you key barrel and holding the plastic in place are 2 screws. Remove the screw and the light ring should come of. This is the wires you need to connect into. You will need to run cables to both sides for the inverters. After you have done this you need to feed the wires all the way through the dash and down to the inverters. Then the last bit to do is connect the wires up. Making sure you get them the right way around. You can check the with a meter to make sure they are right. Then connect the battery back and check they both work when the door is open. If all is working the last thing is to put the car back together and enjoy

there is a group buy for these. i made them up for the is200 but they should fit other lexus models. please check the size posted we after all the bad rep from the oem ones i had 20 sets made up from high grade alu and here is the result you will need to fix the led strips yourselves froma ebay seller in the usa but will post info of that later on. these will be fitted in place of you normal scuff plates and come with 2 self drilling screws. you will need to wire them into you key barrel loom so that when you onen the door they light up. colours are as picture i did a photoshop of the led strips in the photo of mine here so you can get an idea what the other colours might look like hope these help you pick a colour

we after all the bad rep from the oem ones i had 20 sets made up from high grade alu and here is the result you will need to fix the led strips yourselves froma ebay seller in the usa but will post info of that later on. these will be fitted in place of you normal scuff plates and come with 2 self drilling screws. you will need to wire them into you key barrel loom so that when you onen the door they light up. colours are as picture i did a photoshop of the led strips in the photo of mine here so you can get an idea what the other colours might look like hope these help you pick a colour size is 530 x 55 x 3.5 mm

if your going to buy winter tyres then your best to put it on nordic style tyres. eurofrost rated tyres are still to hard and wont grip that well in the ice or snow.... i live in sweden so winter tyres are a must here. i run 225/40/18 continial cvc5 and this is the softest tyre rubber you can get.

if you do this you will need to shop spacers that bult onto the studs you have now and giving you a new set of studs. but this will put a lot of strain on the car and i would say why would you want so much. better buying a new set of wheels with the off set that you want. also you will need to sort out the car after this with alinment ect. also you will cause more than normal wear to bushes etc
