  1. i have the Toyota/Lexus EPC on my puter cheers guys, ill pop to toyota tomorrow and put an order in for them.
  2. nope mate not as simple as that.the gasket you need is a sqaush down type for the cat to mid section and a carbon ring gasket for the mid to backbox.try ebay or try lexus not too dear mate.your rubbers should be ok. Is the standard exhaust the same diameter pipe then, if so ill just get them from the dealer. Anybody know the part numbers for the gaskets, as i dont have a lexus dealership nearby, and the toyota dealership up the road claim they cant search for lexus parts.
  3. The easiest way to install a new amp, would be to ensure that your head unit has RCA outputs (phono). Then it is just a case of connecting these to the amp, along with a remote or switched 12v power supply to act as a signal to the amp to tell it when to turn on, and then the amp only requires a 12v feed from the battery and a earth. You used to be able to get small amps like the OEM lexus one, although havent seen them around for a while. so i dont know if you will be able to find one to fit in the original space. As for connecting the the amp up using the loom that was there for the stock amp, it might be possible as all the wires should be there, but if you have removed the original wiring from the amp to the head unit and replaced it with the amp bypass cable, some additional wiring may be required. The other potenital problem is that the power and earth cables supplying the OEM amp may not be man enough for an after market amplifier. All sounds a little confusing but i hope it helps Kiff
  4. Hi guys, i have just brought myself a blueflame exhaust from the bay. In the description it stated that it did not come with rubbers and gaskets. Anyone got any ideas what gaskets i need? the pipe diameter is 65mm so do i just need to source some standard paper gaskets for 65mm pipe. or can i just buy some gasket sheet and cut my own? cheers kiff
  5. Sounds like you are having the same problem that i had. I followed all the guides and still could not get enough room to get the plug out. In the end i unscrewed the heatsink from the amplifier. With the heatsink off i managed to turn the amp round enough to get to the plugs. I think the heatsink is only held on by a few screws.
  6. i havent taken any pictures as of yet. Ill give it a wash and put some up tomorrow. Does look a lot better with the sports grill though.
  7. I ordered 1 from them earlier in the week in graphite sky turned up this morning. If you paid using pay pal you are protected, and so should be fine.
  8. Hi everyone, ive been looking through the site for a while now trying to persuade myself to buy a lexus, and yesterday i brought one. I am now a proud owner of a v-reg is200 sport. Ive got a couple problems with it that i need to fix, one being the radio, for some reason the cd player works fine, but the radio only picks up static, and the other being i need to get part of the interior retrimed. The last owner must have been a smoker, as the cloth on the drivers a piller has got a few burn marks on it. Other than that the car is great. KIFF
