I have been amazed at how positive she is reported to have remained during all this - every report I have read has depicted such a positive outlook it is staggering - perhaps there really is something to be said to maintaining an optimistic outlook after all ... I really do hope she make a full recovery - wonder how the baby is though ?

If you have spacers over the stem they can be placed below the stem (some bikes are supplied with the steerer left uncut to allow this) - if not as Bazza says it's a different angled stem or risers ... Oh - and don't use bar ends with risers - it's naff !!

Yup :) I like these new credit card pin numbers - saves the shop keeper handing me pens to my right hand all the time - they always look bemused if you reach out with your left hand. My 4 yr old is a lefty too - as were my mum and dad - at least he won't go thru school being "converted" by all the bl@@dy teacher like I did - they seem more chilled about it these days ... My opinion is it's all to do with how you are passed things as a baby - my parent "made" my sister right handed by always passing to her r/hand - with my nipper I forgot and despite the wife being r/handed he is a south paw ...

Did clay and 3 stage on mine and the results were amazing - took 8 hours first time round though 'cos it was so bad - re-application after that was much faster you'll be relieved to hear

I'm a lefty too (handed that is ...) - can write and play most sports with both hands though - tennis and squash are good fun if the opponent is not expecting me to swap hands :D

Is it not possible to set up an automated notification to the sender that a particular post has been deleted - that way the mods don't spend extra time explaining thier action but the sender at least knows it's been done (could also I'd the mod so an enquiry could be made later as to the reason ...). Don't shoot me - just an idea. We all like / appreciate / love (eh ?) the mods really you know - it's just we hide it well at times :)

Good reviews here and some links to buy: http://www.pocketgps.co.uk/navman-icn510-review.php Got my Dad's Garmin unit last year from GPS Warehouse - not got link but a search will bring them up. Loads of other places doing them including Comet / Dixons / Halfords (stocking TomTomGo during May I was told - already do Navman and others ...). -
I had a similar hijack problem over Christmas and the hijack-this log and the guys at http://www.wilderssecurity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=26 did me proud. As a non-computer person it all scared me witless but it really was simple to fix once I got into it all. Ad-Aware / Spybot / AVG are now all installed and used regularly and all has been OK since :)

I'm looking at the same type of units - ICN510 Navman or TomTom 500 (out soon more features) are top of my list at the moment - Navman slimmer so easier to fit into my RAV - waiting for premium spec unit price to drop - whole EU mapping etc - but do like the look of the TTG unit still ... Oh to be decisive -

Thought the Freedom of Info Act was supposed to charge just a nominal fee - how do they get the £111 ? Surely "most" of the truely dangerous locations must be camera'd up by now - smacks of money making does this ... Outside schools and in populated areas fair enough - and some m/way locations where traffics build-ups occur regularly I can understand but these M4 ones really are taking the p***. All IMHO of course.

Good luck Paul - I've done it 3 times and enjoyed it every time - sun is worse than rain after a couple of hours !! Managed Ditchling Beacon last time - can't do it this year 'cos leg is still not fully fit - will be there next year though :) How's the chant go "riders to the right / walkers to the left ..." !

Saw a pic on telly first thing this morning - frightening what a carbon / kevlar structure does to a normal tin one ... My first thoughts were flash git / idiot / jail time - need to find out the facts first but I hope whoever caused it receives a suitable punishment.

Still plugging away with my 2 lines each Wed and Sat - been doing them since the start and still think I may win one day - don't smoke etc so it's my only real vice (well apart from modding ...) !
