Thx m8 - Good info - I'm currently having a go at doing the job (havin a prob with disconecting the plug) - does anyone know whether you can reset the codes by disconecting the negative off the battery?? Thanks.

Hi guys - Currently got a Lexus RX300 02 reg - got a problem - VSC light is on, on the dash - diagnostic check shows code P1135 - I believe this is one of the Oxy sensors - would anyone know the location of this on the car ?? and does anyone think I'd be able to access and change this myself? Also, does anyone know how to reset the codes - is it possible to do this by disconecting the battery negative terminal? Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the info, pulled all fuses I could find but no results. Did you pull the relays? (are they the big square ones?) are there any other members out there who could help, save me paying silly price Lexus biills. Thanks again

Hi all, I have a Lexus RX 300. 52 reg, went into town today parked up, car would not lock with remote(key fob)had to lock it manually with key. On journey home I noticed the info display on dash was down tried the radio, ariel would not come up and no sound. Appear to have at least 3 problems, info display blank radio not working central locking not working. Can anyone point me in right direction for a fix (could it be a fuse) Apart from this car running great. Excellent forum very informative thanks hopefully.

Hi - Recently bought an RX300 that came with Toyo Transpath A11 215/70/16 - need to change them - seems to be alot of road noise from these tyres - has anyone else found this? Have been reccomended Continentals - told they were quieter - is this the case? - any reccomendations for a quiet on-road motorway-type tyre (I don't do any off-roading). Thanks

Hi all - first post, been reading the forum for a bit, Recently bought a 52 reg RX300 pre-facelift model (prob mark 1 but not too sure). Enjoying the vehicle, but the heater blower motor is very noisey (sounds to me as if the bearings are going on the motor) - has anyone had similar, or anyone changed theirs (any tips/help etc). Appreciate any advise on how to sort this. Does anyone think its possible for an amateur (me) to replace the blower motor myself or is it a garage job? Thanks
