  1. anyone around Norwich area willing to give me a bit of help? Need to do mine too and not too confident...
  2. welcome mate, I think Lexus on Reepham is quite competitive on parts although if your local garage has got good relations with suppliers you can get much cheaper prices on compatible parts (non-oem).
  3. I bought a full set about a month ago. no complaints - good quality. spot on for the money. Although as said earlier you wont get the quality of HID by just replacing the bulbs....
  4. i've managed to source the mount for an OE satnav. it seems that the newer models had bigger screens coz this one is huge! couple of questions before i start building: 1. Does anyone knoe of a satnav that'll fit in without modding the mount? 2. I dont have the frame that held the original screen. Can i just pad the satnav sufficiently instead? Cheers BM
  5. No Soldering needed friend you just plug & play :D I hate myself for finding this website! my expenses keep creeping up every month!!! :D
  6. Impressive mate, but if I were to buy the LED's myself, woul I need to solder them? coz on eabay he says no soldering required!
  7. Guys, found this on ebay item no: 270328079919 has anyone tried this? will this be any good? BM
  8. looks like I might have got one :D ! ordered an IS300 armrest today through a breakers yard. Hopefully it will be the tower one and fit . Will let you guys know how I get on.
  9. Yeah, I didnt really ask them for a price for fitting, they gave me a full estimate including fitting. No way I am paying 300 quid to Lexus for it. Ebay it is - watch and wait!!
  10. struggling with child locks eh! :winky: just kidding mate
  11. Highly unlikely mate. I had a chat with them and they're not aware of any of their arm rests being fit in a Lex :( Looks like i've to wait for a Lexus OEM armrest to be available cheap. Got a quote from Lexus main dealer here and it comes out at £320 just for the parts. With VAT and fitting, it'll be well above £500 apparently!
  12. are they OEM mate? also, I am looking to replace all the disks and pads on my Lex. Any particular brands I should look for? Yes mate oem parts, they are used but in very good condition from the pictures i've seen and a bargain at the price? plus 1 of mine has a small piece missing so need to replace it :) If you can find Mintex disc's and pads there very good, got the pads fitted all round on mine at the moment and going to get the disc's very soon :) I want calipers too! cheapest i can find are around 100 quid apiece!

  14. depending on what os you are running and how much Ram you have available and how clean your hdd is (as in defragged) a free space of around a gig in your windows installation drive will prob give you optomum processor performance. as far as file transfers are concerned, i'd copy them to an external source from the old lappy and put the in the new one. that way you also get a backup!
