  1. Hi Folks. I don't post often mainly because I have trouble free motoring from my 1999 S reg MKII GS300. Lately I have noticed a couple of things that I'm looking for help with. 1 When driving in daylight my speedo and rev counter clocks light up as normal with the dimmer turned down very slightly ( I read somewhere on this site good idea to turn them down as this stops the needles burning out ). But at night with the dimmer in the same position the clocks are much duller almost as if the dimmer was turned nearly right down. 2 The rubber strip at the bottom of the driver's door on the outside is starting to come adrift from the door where it meets the rear door. Any help with these problems would be much appreciated. Jim

  3. Hi. I'm having the same problem with my mkII gs, but I also have a brake wobble and suspect my front discs need replacing. I've had the car for 4 years and the discs were replaced by Lexus Glasgow under Lexus warranty and then again under Lexus parts warranty as the first set only lasted about 10 months (approx 2500 miles). The car has now done 8000 mls on these discs and I was thinking about replacing them with Mintex discs and Lexus pads. Has anyone got any thoughts about this combination.
