  1. Happy Birthday Andrew - D!

  2. I have the same thing. Its not loud at all really just not perfect like it used to be and it bothers me. I am gonna have a go at adjusting the belt to see if that works.
  3. I have been out and about all over the place during this weather including some very remote country lanes. I think it has done well but have been stuck a few times. I found when you get stuck it is best to switch all the driver aids off. I then managed to move off using almost full throttle. The wheels spin but quickly dig in and off i go lol
  4. I was confused by this too but you must have done the same thing as me. For example my parts number is 86271-24124A. I typed that in along with the model of the car nothing came up so i tried it without the A on the end and it worked so i would try that.
  5. I would like to know this to as i am looking to update my dvd sat nav and want to know whether there is post code support. I have heard however that the frozen menus whilst moving are a thing of the past though.
  6. James May before he turned into a spaniel. I couldnt agree with the review more its a great car to drive but that gear box from 1st to 2nd makes a worring clonk. And the power, enough, just. A great find!
  7. Well thanks to all of you for your info i have decided life without HID is ridiculous you cant see a thing so they are going to have to go back in. By the way mine are 6000k which i forgot to mention. I am going to use the new anti glare bulbs though cos i really dont want to blind any other drivers as i hate it when other drivers do it to me.
  8. Thanks for that, two subs must deliver a pretty big punch lol
  9. I have a vibe sub sounds great and i wanted to keep the oem headunit and speakers i did a guide on how to do it so search for sub install guide is200
  10. I know this is but i just wanted to say that your sub looks neatly fitted in that pic looks like a good place to put it might try and move mine there.
  11. I fitted HIDs to my car a while ago now and i couldnt belive the light. They were so much better than my old headlights. They were great and lighting up signs and lines on the road. However i had a few other drivers flash my as if they were blinded. I was worried my lights were annoying other drivers as i hate it when other cars blind me. So i took my car to have its lights aligned to make sure they were perfect. Anyway after having this done i was still flashed by on comming cars. So i looked into the matter on the internet and as it turns out our halogen projectors just arent up to the job of HID. The beam given off with a halogen bulb is crisp and wont blind other drivers when aligned properly however given the nature of HID light it can disperse and distort when you use a halogen projector. It gives off a glare and a blured cut off line. Anyway i was speeking to a few friends last night and they said that a few peoples cars have been impounded by the police as a result of having after market HIDs. Obviously you get your car back but you are made to pay a fine and you have to put the old bulbs back in. Well after having heard this i was worried i was gonna loose my lovely Lex so i have taken them out and put the old halogens back in cos i dont want to risk it. I have also found out the HID 4 U now sell anti glare bulbs to combat this problem so i am gonna try and get them to give me some. I have emailed them regarding all of this and i have said i have had to remove the kit. So has anyone on here had the same problem?
  12. well at 17 if you can afford it then why not. Couldnt agree more! I had and alfa 156 as my first car
  13. Im 20 and i pay 1600 with tesco with no NCB and no points yet lol
  14. I went to a dealer in reading when i first got my car to get a set of mats and i was shocked to find that they said they stopped making them but he was very helpful and said that he could give me a set that they use when the cars are out on a test drive. They had a pile of them, brand new and nice thick deep pile black carpet for 20 cash they fit like a dream and even fit the retention clips. So i would recomend these mats and also the dealership Lexus Reading.
