That's a very decent price for such an excellent condition car with nice extras. Definitely be patient :)

Just handed in my car for a 40K service + MOT and a pair of brake pads need replacing (even though the car has done 4k of miles in 1 year since I bought it, hmmm.....).. They want about £100 quid straight up - that sounds a little steep, is it guys? I'm trying to get 'em to respray the bonnet for free, it's proving hard though!

Thanks guys. Minor windscreen damage is repaired almost for free with Directline insurance. You only pay the excess over £50, and it doesn't affect your no claims. Someone's coming round next week to strengthen it. Cool man B)

Hi dudes, I have an extremely tiny chip on my windscreen, probably 1mm deep.. barely noticeable. Must I get this fixed? I seem to recall a telly advert emphasising how the ignorant are punished if you leave screen chips alone hehe

What's the petrol consumption like on an IS300? Must be awful, my IS200 manual is lame IMO. -
The price is just too low, I would be mega sceptical...

My gearbox is clunk-o-mania.. I just have to put the windows down and drive in a quiet road to hear it.. Plus the engine is quite clickety, another "characteristic" I s'pose ;) I can't be bothered to make a fuss with the dealer, am worried they'll make things worse as they have done for some others. I'm saving up the readies for the new IS200! :D

Let's be honest, is200 is a nice car but anyone can afford it.... if u don't mind buying it with super high mileage you can pick one up for 8-9K right?... It'll get more and more popular, you'll start seeing lil kiddies n rude boys driving them about in a year (just like the old 3 series) and before you know it, the is200 will have far less respect...... Time to get the new is200 as soon as it's out methinks! :)

I sprayed some WD40 right up in there, on the coil of the clutch, you really have to stick your head right up there :) Squeak gone for good... When I'm driving tho, on the passenger side there's a strange noise I so cannot describe it! It's like someone patting the seat.. any ideas?

Ah man sod that. I'll put 5k towards the new IS200 that comes out in 2005. Lexus can be jammy dodgers!

I can't seem to find any threads on this sorry for asking an old question guys! I have a 2000 IS200 Sport, 20K on the clock etc etc What are my options for an official lexus sat nav? Can I get a 2nd hand one fitted? Labour? Thank-you! :)

I find most of the time (but not always) the engine when idle sounds like a diesel truck.... Well I am exaggerating, but it's definitely not as quiet as it could be. My is200 is in top condition with only 20K on the clock ya know. It is 3 years old tho. Any ideas why this is?

Hey peeps, one side is easy but the other is extremely cluttered, I cannot get anything in or out without risking the bulb touching something mid journey.... Any tips?
