  1. The 2nd one of the only 2 ‘special order’ 2019 car have popped up on Lexus’ used site for £46k Black with rose interior. https://usedcars.lexus.co.uk/en/used-lexus/lexus/gs-f?country=gb&customer=&unitSystem=imperial&currency=GBP&searchstring=&price_from=&price_to=&reg_date_from=&reg_date_to=&km_from=&km_to=&kw_from=&kw_to=&emission_from=&emission_to=&gas=&gears=&color=&zip=&radius=80&model=2257&mcategory=all&manufacturer=31
  2. Hi guys I have available a Lexus Japan only key pouch made specificly for the ISF with the F emblem, very well made from cow hide and in excellent condition.
  3. I’ve never driven a DC2 to compare but can confidently say the FD2 is probably the most hardcore ‘practical’ road car out there, the wife absolutely hates the car due to the extreme stock suspension setup lol.
  4. I’ve had three DC5s and still own a FD2R which are In hibernation, what do you want to know. 😉
  5. That’s quick! Was at £56,990 yesterday, should be around £45,000 from the start imo.
  6. Spotted this black ISF on the M62 eastbound, makes me miss my pearl white ISF, anyone from here?
  7. Make sure it’s a breathable car cover, otherwise it’ll trap moisture and does more bad than good. Mine stays in the garage when not in use and on a CTek trickle charger over winter without a cover to allow air circulation. As it’s indoor out of the element dust is minimum, longest I’ve stored a car this way is 6 months and never had a any issue.
  8. Had it on autotrader for 5 weeks and not even 1 enquiry, then advertised on pistonheads for 2 months, few enquiries and sold to the first chap who came to view as with all my previous cars. The ISF are truly over engineered car, cost me nothing apart from the services.
  9. Today I’ve waived good bye to my ISF after 4.5 years of ownership, I’ve really enjoyed the time I’ve had it. And gladly she’s gone to a good home. Will be on the search for a 2017+ GSF in white if anyone is looking to sell please let me know. 0AC5B9D2-1655-4983-9D5B-EA08B6FF3635.MOV
  10. Looks awesome, ultra blue was my first choice when looking for an ISF. what stuff did you used to put the number plates on?
  11. Paul that photo looks like there is a dent on the rear offside bumper.😂
  12. I happened to know this is up for sale and the paint is in pretty good condition too!😊
  13. Made full use of today’s lovely weather and took the ISF to work, looks like I’ll be upgrading to a GSF in the near future.
  14. Just being sent this on FB, What a lucky man the driver have walked out alive from this crash, tells us how well built our cars are!!
  15. There’s another blue one owned by my mate’s friend Karl, so that’s 4 locally then, common As muck 😂
  16. Hi Nick Is your ISF black by any chance because I always see a black one parked outside a house in Rainhill when going to My mates. Also there’s a blue one local as well.
  17. I’m pretty much the same, had 5 type Rs in a row, then one day thought to my self I need to move on and try something different. Bought the ISF 4 years ago and it wasn’t until last year I decided I need to have another type R, so imported a fresh one from Japan with only 9k miles on clock with the intention of keeping forever being the last NA type r. I did sat in the FK8 last time I was in the dealership, looked massive in person and thought the styling were a bit busy. Maybe 1 day it will grown on me.
  18. Congrats on the purchase of the FK8, still not convinced on them yet. IMO this is the last real type R. 😜
  19. Hi doog any chance of a photo of the area between the battery and bonnet strut, just want to confirm my wires are all okay.
  20. It’s the wires going into the black fuse box on the left, any IS200T owners can confirm with a photo. Thanks
  21. Was doing the engine oil level check on the IS and spotted something unusual. The bunch of cables going into the fuse box next to the battery isn’t protected by any conduit but wrapped in electrical tape only, this doesn’t seem right to me. can someone confirm wether this is normal?
  22. Have the same dialema with my 2011 ISF. Car is due it’s annual service on 1st March, having only covered around 2k miles and currently stored away during winter, I’m thinking of stretch the interval a couple of months and have it serviced in May with Lexus when the car is back out. Altough I said to myself I’ll never sell her but you never know, would you be put off by the car because it’s not serviced at 12months interval as it’s been stored away?
