  3. I'll do a little video test on my next day off and post my findings.
  4. Traction control is like ABS in reverse. It uses tha ABS sensors to measure wheel speeds if the driven wheel speeds exceed the non driven wheel speed (car breaks traction) then the ECU cuts the power and on some cars applies the breaks to regain traction.
  5. I wouldnt bother doing in for a while yet, All that road salt being spread by the gritters will just have it looking the same again.
  6. Thanks Stevie WIKI says : A resonator is a device or system that exhibits resonance or resonant behavior, that is, it naturally oscillates at some frequencies, called its resonance frequencies, with greater amplitude than at others. Although its usage has broadened, the term usually refers to a physical object that oscillates at specific frequencies because its dimensions are an integral multiple of the wavelength at those frequencies. The oscillations or waves in a resonator can be either electromagnetic or mechanical (including acoustic). Resonators are used to either generate waves of specific frequencies or to select specific frequencies from a signal. Musical instruments use acoustic resonators that produce sound waves of specific tones. A cavity resonator, usually used in reference to electromagnetic resonators, is one in which the waves exist in a hollow space inside the device. Acoustic cavity resonators, in which sound is produced by air vibrating in a cavity with one opening, are known as Helmholtz resonators. Interesting

  10. Hi guys I have a warning light on that looks like this ( ! ) I have put new brake pads on and topped up the fluid but it still comes on when I press the brakes. Could it be something to do with the after market dvd unit in my car? it is all wired up to the handbrake correctly as law requires.
