  1. As the saying goes you learn something new everyday,at least now I know too, just incase I find myself in a similar situation 👍
  2. Would most likely be the battery, do you know when it was last changed or how old it is??
  3. Welcome back John, if it doesn't come with one you might be able to get one through LPD or off the Bay
  4. At a guess would probably say you have a flat/dead battery
  5. My sincere condolences to all the family, Sarah hoping you and your immediate family have the strength and fortitude to bear the loss in the knowledge that he was much loved and appreciated 👍
  6. Basically it's £920 on top of whatever the price is(not a subtraction then an addition)
  7. Be careful do your homework/research first, it's not quite as simple as you might think
  8. Don't really bother myself with so called car programmes on telly, not worth the bother lol
  9. I will be leaving my car in the car park and attending on foot
  10. You can still get them through the Japfest website, got mine through there just as I did last year too
  11. Like everything in life the choice is yours, personally I would rather have a proper spare wheel/tyre than a space saver, moreover how much fuel are you actually saving by not having a full sized wheel anyway. Then again why have one at all, just call out the break down people if you ever have a flat/puncture
  12. Hello Dave, congratulations on your recent purchase and welcome to the LOC, hope you find the forum informative and educational
  13. I would like to be able to change some of the lock settings etc on my car, and techstream seems to be the way to go
  14. Vladimir, if you do get one, please let us know how you get on with it, as I ordered one a few months ago but couldn't download the drivers/get it to work so returned it and got a refund. Still looking to get one
  15. Hello James some of us are waiting to know the outcome of your visit to the service centre
  16. Hello Neil and welcome to the LOC, hope you will find the forum informative and educational
  17. I haven't personally, all you will be doing is sacrificing handling for comfort, having said that I would go for the 17's instead of 16's as a compromise
  18. Yes James get what you mean, same here, although I also blame the manufacturers for not thinking of this earlier(that is rear lights coming on with the drl's)
  19. Well James at least you now know for definite, which is sort of in line with my earlier thinking/reasoning
  20. You know best, however a word is enough for the wise
  21. Think about? do electrics and water go together? answer is NO they don't. The Electronics on modern cars these days are the most expensive parts of a car(numerous ecu's, wiring looms etc etc) Your Renault 4, Mercedes 350SE, Peugeot 604 and others were 90% mechanical, so no ecu's for this that and the other, or miles and miles of wiring looms.
