I'm new to this forum and not a Lexus owner yet :)
I've been looking for a LS400 for a while but can;t seem to find any - very scares in my country.
I have however heard of a 1998 GS300 going for a really good price probably due to it's high millage of 280,000km.
I have not seen the car so I don't know if it is a 1st or 2nd generation GS300.
The advert states 1998 but it could be a 1st generation registered in 1998 - not sure.
What are the things to look out for on a car with such high millage.
And if it is indeed a 1st generation vehicle - is it still worth the buy?

EDIT1: Just heard of a 1995 LS400 with 159,000km going for the exact same price as the GS300 above.
Now I'm confused!!
EDIT2: LS400 = Sold :(
