  1. Hi Ahmed did you take the caliper off when painting or did you just cover up the brake disc?
  2. Hi there i last seen them on ebay, i was thinking to buy them but not to sure about the quality and how they will look.
  3. Hi there ahmed did you buy the IS-F rear bumper at a Lexus main dealer? If so how much did it cost?
  4. Hi there ahmed i love the IS-F bumper look was always thinking about doing this to my IS250. I have got some questions I need you to please answer if possible. 1.Did the IS-F bumper just fit to the IS250 or did you have to make adjustments? 2. If you was to maybe add a F-Sport exhaust system will you be able to attach it to the OEM IS-F tips? 3.Did the parking sensor need to be rewired?
  5. Hi there lexus owner can someone tell me whats the best Shampoo to use when washing the car? And which is the best polish to use on a black car. At the moment i am using simoniz wash & wax to wash the car and black t-cut to polish the car. Polishing the car with t-cut is very hard work sometimes as it does not come off easily. Please help lexus owners. :eerrrmm: Sorry if this topic has come up before.

  8. Hi Lexus owners be careful about which regplate design you buy. Got stopped today by the coppers and they said my regplate is not road legal because my plate had outlines around it. Cant believe it as i have been driving around with it 3 and half years. Copper have given me a week to be road legal again.
  9. Hi there if i was to take my IS250 for service or MOT at a Lexus garage will they say any think about the HID kit. For example will it still pass MOT. And once i have fitted the HID kit i will need to get the lights alignment done. Can this be done by Lexus or should i just go to a different garage. Lexus owners plz help
  10. Hi Lexus owners i am thinking of getting HID lights fitting in my IS250 but i have heard they are not allowed on the road in the U.K. Is this true. Someone please reply as I don’t know much on this topic.
  11. Sorry image will not load up so it has been loaded as a doc. And by the way this is not a virus.
  12. Hi Lexus owner tell me what you think about these chrome tail lights for the is250. Would you change for the chrome look? back_lights.doc
  13. Hi there Lexus owners i want to get some chrome wheels for my black IS250. I am trying to get 19ich wheels which comes with tyres. I have been looking around but cant fine what i am looking for. Anyone know any good alloy wheels websites?
  14. Hi there i will be buying a second hand black lexus IS250 SE-L MM this week which i will be buying privately. The car has done 16700 miles on the clock. As i have not had a lexus IS250 before what should i look out for please help me lexus owners.
  15. That size is fine for the front (I have the same size Toyo T1-R's tyres on the front of mine) but you'll need a different size for the rear as the 250 needs a staggered set up. Mine currently has 275/30/19 on the rears. i am now looking around for a nice set of 19inc rims. i seen these but the tyres will come in the package which comes fitted with 235\35\19 tyres. tango said i might need 275/30/19 on the rears. http://www.alloywheels.com/product.asp?P_I...chSize=19" someone plz help bit unsure on what to do. do i buy them with those tyres. Those are 19" diameter but are only 8" wide all round so you're limited to tyre choice. The 275/30/19 I have on the rear will be a bit overtyred for your rims . My 19" are 8.5" wide on the front and 9.5" wide on the rear. The 235/35/R 19 they are offering may will be OK for the fronts, but you need 245/35/R 19 on the rear to match the OEM stagger. Only the IS250 AWD (all wheel drive) in the states and Canada have the same width tyres all round, and they have a different suspension set up. Check your options http://www.dakota-truck.net/TIRECALC/tirecalc.html Thanks for your reply tango i emailed the alloy wheel company who i will be buying the alloys off. They said 245 is too wide for the rear wheels. What should i do? OEM standard fitting for the 250/220D is: 17" Diameter and 8" wide Front: 225/45/17, 17x8 +45mm O/S. Rear: 245/45/17, 17x8, +45mm O/S. 18" Diameter and 8" wide fronts 8.5" wide rears Front: 225/40/18, 18x8, +45mm Rear: 255/40/18, 18x8.5, +50mm So whoever replied to your email doesn't know what they're talking about, or they're only selling as fixed sized sets. Personally I wouldn't put the same size tyres all round on a 17" wheel, but then I wouldn't buy 19" rims that are only 8" wide for the 250/220D either. Thank u so much tango for all ur help. I think i will ring them up because the person who emailed me just said no to wide will not fit. :duh: doesn't know what they're talking about. :duh: Do u know were i might be able to get a nice set 19inc rims. love ur lex by the way.

  19. Thank you lexus owners for your response. I think i will go for the auto IS250 mm. I might want to take a test drive from the lexus dealer but wanted to know how old you need to be to hire out a IS250 or take it out for a 48 hour test drive. I am 19 years old so this might be a problem. Can anyone help
  20. Hi there lexus owners. I have owned a Honda Jazz which i have been driving for the last 2 years. I am now thinking of getting a second hand very low on the clock IS250 in manual or auto which i will be insuring with my dad. I am 19 years old myself and have been driving manual since the day i passed and my dad has for 33 years. I am not sure if i should get auto because i am used to manual. Has anyone changed from manual to auto what is it like in the IS250? Is it better then the manual IS250?
