    I've got a rather large paint chip with a small dent on the bonnet. Just taken it to my local Chips Away and they recommended a full bonnet respray (but they can't do it). Can anyone recommend somewhere to get this done? Options are Watford / St. Albans or Preston (where I'm working during the week!). PS Some of you will remember I thought this damage was done by Lexus Twickenham. I still do, but they wont accept it. So while I'm escalating the complaint, I need to get some quotes in for getting the work fixed myself.

    I want to upgrade my Sat Nav CD and I've heard a rumour that the latest version of the Sat Nav CD allows you to enter destinations using postcodes. Is this correct? I've also been told that the latest version is V1 2002, part number 08664-50826. Is this the latest version?

    picked up my new car on Saturday. 600 miles so far.... what a fantastic car :D :D :D needs a clean already though! but then I knew it would...

    Every time I press a button to control my (CD-based) Sat Nav it emits a beep... Can I turn this off???? It's driving me mad...

    Ordered my used IS 200 Sport today :D :D :D Went for Astral Black and with Sat Nav... and the dealer is 'throwing in' the latest version of the CD maps / software :D Anyone know what the version number should be??? presume that it's written on the CD?? Can't wait until next Sat when I can pick it up.....

    Does purchasing a new CD also update the software? How does the functionality and calculation speed of the Lexus CD Sat Nav compare to other newer systems? eg Entering destinations, voice prompts, etc

    I'm about to to buy an IS 200 Sport (~2000 model) and wondered how good the CD-based sat nav system is. As the software must getting on for three years old and things have (presumably) moved on, would I be better off using one of the IPAQ or aftermarket systems?

    OK I chickened out of buying that one! I've found another Astral Black IS 200 Sport that I'm off to view on Saturday. Fingers crossed its ok and I should be able to take delivery sometime next week... Thanks for your input everyone.

    Thanks for the advice so far guys. Duncan - it missed the 30k altogether... I thought that the 40k would pick up everything that should have been done in the 30k, but without the stamp in the book I'm concerned that I wont be able to get a decent price when I come to sell it on, even if I maintain the service history...

    I'm about to buy a W-plate approved used IS 200 Sport Astral Black with 42k on the clock :D but the car missed its 30k service. I know this is only a minor service, the dealer is doing the 40k service before I pick the car up and apparently "approved used" cars are allowed to miss one service. But... should I be worried about anything??? Especially future resale value - I imagine I will keep the car for at least 3 years and 30k miles?? Should I be looking get something off the price?
