  1. Ok, your's sounds like a winner ;-) I will send them an email. Thanks again for the input guys!
  2. Thnx for the info there. But what exactly is the difference in the kit from your link and mine..? They don't state they use anti glare units. Projectors are indeed very nice, but that is too much modding for me ;-)
  3. Thnx mate! This is the kit I want: http://www.ebay.nl/i...=item19ca17bdfe If it fits, then im ordering right now ;-) I want a good quality, OEM like colour kit, this looks like it.
  4. Hi! I am looking for a HID conversion upgrade for my IS200. Now I have found a set without canbus (no problem with a IS200) but with KET connectors instead of AMP. Is this a problem on a IS200? Gr. Pat
  5. Damn....had that thought already but couldn't figure it out in all the info...shame. Thanks for replying though. So a 9j in the rear and 8 or 8,5 in the front will fit? The set was EUR 700 used (10 km under the car), for only the wheels, nice price I thought. The other option I had in mind is a brand new set of 5Zigen Pro Racer GN+ in 17", 7,5j, ET +43 with 215/40(45)/17
  6. Hello, I want to buy a set of summer tyres/wheels instead of my current 16" Business wheels setup (gonna keep those for the winter time with wintertyres). I have searched the whole net for et's, width and rim size. Rolling fenders and all that. Most of it is based on 18" or 19" wheels. Calculators I don't get...I know... Now I've seen a real nice second hand set. But I want to know if it fits? I've seen a lot of threads with these questions but please be gentle ;-) Again, I'm a noob concerning this wheel size/fitting/tyre size info. What about 17" Advan model 5 (bronze). Size 9j all around, 5 x 114,3, offset +45? Will this fit cause i haven't seen a 17" in width 9j mentioned before anywhere I guess?? And if so, which tyre size is recommendable and will there be an actions (rolling fenders) needed? Some xtra info; I want to get the car lowered (30mm) in the (near) future. Thnx for youre advices and please be gentle!
  7. Asked the guys via Ebay if they could deliver one for my 2003 IS200 to Holland. No problem, they only said that there's only the welded one available...and I want a 'screw on' one. They don't have that...
  8. Here ya go! http://cgi.ebay.nl/TRD-Genuine-BALL-shift-...p3286.m63.l1177
  9. Ebay rules ;-) I've got it also, it's a really nice touch in the black interior of my Lex. And I think it's got a nicer feeling to it, while shifting, then the original one. And no more polishing. Got fed up rubbing it all the time.....lol
  10. Nice job. If the weather was the same as over here, you really lost some weight today, haha!
  11. Yesterday I have been giving my car a real 'detail'. First time in the one and a half year of driving it. I've done it together with a mate of mine. We worked on it for about seven hours. The stuff we used: - washed the car with Meg's Wash Mitt and Dodo Juice Born te be Mild - removed heavy dirt with Meg's APC (1:7) - Dried the car with Chemical Guys Miracle dryer - Clayed it with Swissvax Paint Rubber - Excenter with SSR 2 (some parts with SSR3) on Orange LC pad - Excenter with SSR 1 on White LC pad - Excenter with Poorboys World Professional Polish on Black LC pad - Swissvax Cleaner Fluid - Swissvax Saphyr wax - windows with Poorboys World Spray & Wipe - Tyres with Wolfgang Tire Gel - Rims with Swissvax Autobahn wax The result:
  12. Beware that there still is a little plate left, on which the logo was attached....doesn't make it prettier in my opinion.
  13. Nice job! Looks awesome. I've got myself a platinum one too, but sadly still without the spoilers ;-( I'm looking for those also, do the Lexus dealerships still sell 'em? Must admit I haven't asked my Dutch dealer at this time. But then again, it will cost a fortune i guess? Do they come painted already, just like the sportsgrill?
  14. :( I have the exact same leaking in my IS200....the dealer told me a while back (after the 90.000km service) it wasn't harmfull...mmm...they didn t repair it.
  15. Hello fellow dutchie! welke kleur hebbie gekocht? ;)
  16. Yeah! The sportsgrill arrived! ;)
  17. @ redz UK; Believe me...you can @ aido; Well enjoy the best beer in the world then! And just ask for the mushrooms, then you'll find out they stacked somewhere behind the counter ;-) @ mus26c; Thnx! You're quite right about the colour :P B) And you're right about the IS being rare over here, I don't see them so often also. Went for a holiday this summer, all the way through Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Norway. In two weeks time and covering 3000 km's, I have seen one Lexus! :o It was a brandnew LS and the driver waved at me! Haha!
  18. Aha, for you're job? Been in Holland before? Amsterdam and Utrecht are nice city's. I hope you don't come with the Lex, Amsterdam is kind of a war area at the moment..and there are no parking spaces, haha! Well have a good time then and don't take too much of our famous psychedelic products ;-)
  19. Thnx for the welcome guys! And to tommy20165; You could be quite right there, haha! I had a Civic VTi before that i pimped in a few places. But I have told myself not to overdo it on this car, I like the clean look now. Maybe some nice wheels one day and dropping the car a few mm, but that's about it.
  20. Hello there! I was wondering around this website for some time now and just recently registered as a member. My name is Pat, 33, and I'm from Holland. Just love all the info I can find around here as there aren't many Dutch websites concerning Lexus. I drive a 2003 Lexus IS200 for around a year now. Just love it! Since I am on this forum the first 'modding' item is bought; the must have sports grill. I am eagerly waiting for it to arrive, haha! Below a pic of my precious, which is at the moment completely standard.
  21. All I can say...buy wintertyres or drive really carefully. And never cut out the TRC. We had some snow over here too. Not as much as you guys have at the moment but enough to really ´ice´ up the roads. Had no problems whatsoever. And I didn´t drive like grandma..;-) Was my first snow experience with the Lex, didn't sleep well the night before hearing all those stories of driving it in the snow. But I feel confident all the way. So: Some Dunlop Wintersport 3D, Snow and TC buttons on and weeehhaaa!
