  1. Hi , I think all of the posts cover most of the points, If you don't need a heavy duty off-roader you'll be hard pushed to beat the 400h, Goes like a sports car when required but has the economy of a large diesel when ur not pushing it on. You can't help but grin from ear to ear when you floor it knowing there's not much out there to catch it but at the same time you can coast at 70 mph!!! with all the power units off. Like someone else said, you find yourself coaxing it along with the slightest amount off presssure on the accelerator and the car always feels like it totally effortless. You need to get a good test drive to appreciate how good the car feels. Go speak to a dealer you won't regret it but your wallet might lol ps milage wise never under 27mpg but have managed over 40 when really watching what I'm doing and thats over the 30 minute period that the bar graph logs. Like yourself I had all those questions before I bought one but drive one, buy one, and enjoy the car everything works just fine
  2. It looks good, Did you use a special paint? and where do you get the decals everybody is talking about?
  3. hi, like Dave I also have a Westfalia Detach Towbar RX300 RX400 03>> fitted that was supplied also from tow equipe. I used their recommended fitters and while they took a full 12hours it all worked fine at the end, it was their first 400 and probably there last lol. single electrics is fine for your bike rack. One off the reasons that the dealership is so expensive, according to the fitters that done mine, is that a secondry oil cooler for the gearbox is recommended if you are going to do serious heavy towing and that is part of the lexus fit. When the tow bar is stowed it is impossible to tell that you have one as the electrics also swivel up out of the way. It is a quality piece off kit and I would highly reccomend it as you don't want to spoil the look of the motor with an ugly tow ball sitting there when it is not being used. I use the thule euroclassic carrier which is also pretty good. Hope this helps you. John
  4. Hi I'm new to the owners club. I've had my rx400h se-l for 20 months now and still think it is fantastic, anybody else out there feel the same !!!!, most off the post seem to complaining about fuel economy, to me your missing the point off the best car I've ever driven and by the way my average is 28 mpg no matter how I drive but on a recent trip to Aviemore I averaged just over 40 mpg on the bar graph for the drive up :)
