iv tried the re set, but like you thought it didnt make any difference. think im gonna invest in an obd

changed it sunday night. the abs light is permantly on and the trc light is flashing about every 2 seconds :tsktsk:

my abs and trc light is on, after investigating we found the abs sensor ont the o/s/f wheel was smashed and no longer connected, i have fitted a new sensor but the lights have stayed on :tsktsk: do i need to reset the ecu, if so how?? thanks Adam

not sure which pipe it was, as said above i didnt to much of the work, there were 2 plugs off on the back of the engine, put them both on and hey presto B)

got the problem sorted tonight :winky: along with a few other little bits that would stop it going through a test. just gotta get a caliper and a new plug for an abs sensor and jobs a good un! thanks for all the help its very much appreciated Adam

if i get the problme fixed will the faults need wiping from the ecu or will it self clear??

thats great, anyhelp is much appreciated. i must get used to map not maf, i also run a 200sx and thats maf. im going for a much better look tomorrow. the car still drives fine but wont rev over 3k

car was bought by a mate after a front end smack, with the idea of putting a 2jzgte in. a year later the car was straight again and the original engine out. another year later the project was given up and the original engine put back in, and here we are today. im leaving a job with a company car and need a cheap stop gap and this hopefully fits the bill.

i dony know the code yet, but i have just found the list of fault codes on here, so that should help. is there any obvious or common pipes to look for??

Hi guys, im a complete noob to lexus ownership. im about to buy a 2000 V is200, the car has had the engine out and is now running in "limp" mode, its been plugged in and is coming back with a maf problem, apparently a pipe is on backwards. just trying to find out if anybody has experienced this before and has an idea of which pipe it could be?? any help much appreciated Adam
