Thanks again for the replies,it seems a very handy forum. Regarding some comments on the Cam. Is it best to go through Lexus service centres and maintain the full lex service history or is this the right place to ask for help regarding cheaper options for the same job?? I will sort some photos out asap btw!!

Quick question about the forum.How come i have to click the replies at the bottom of the page???Why don't they scroll down in one like other forums,or have i got a setting wrong!!!! It really is a nice surprise to get a decent MPG,a real added bonus to such a lovely,lovely car!!It looks great,it drives great.Made up. Is the cambelt a definite on a certain mileage??? The other half has an Avensis and its crap compared to mine ,but seriously he had the cambelt done at 60k,so is it roughly the same?

Hello.My first post,so be nice as i'm a single mother of 2!! (ones my 6 year old lad,the others my 35 y/o bloke!!) Just bought a 53 plate lexus is 200 se ,traded in my lovely C2 GT!!! Have had her for a couple of weeks, am really impressed. Thought it waa a bit posh for me but have soon become used to the idea of having a car of this class. Am I doing something wrong as am getting loads of miles to the gallon? Read loads of horror stories as per fuel consumption but so far so good! Should add car has 40k on the clock and full Lexus service history. Is there anything i should be looking out for or should i just enjoy the ride!!! Anyone on here do services,parts etc? Thanks for reading my first post.I'm loving this car. :)
