hi, i think that the high revs is prob due to the clutch slipping, the biting point and poor gear change also comes down to the clutch. this was the same on mine and i had the clutch replaced and was a different car all together

hi i have recently had fitted a new set of discs and pads allround, when the wheel gets hot there is a metallic noise coming from the o/s/f . it was worse yeaterday so when i got home i had a cup of tea then went to have a look to see if i could see anything that could be making the noise. i couldn't see anything untoward so i checked the discs and the o/s/f disc was hot to touch when the others were ok. the noise seems to be there all the time and increases with speed of the car. it only stops when the car is coming to a stop ? any ideas would be greatful, thanks

if you remove the wheel then the centre cap pushes out from behind, good luck with you alloys i done mine last month and looks 100% better even though i haven't done it b4

hi, i have a noise coming from the n/s/f wheel area when the brakes/wheel gets hot. it happens all the time and have traced it down to this wheel. it sounds like a scraping noise all the brakes have been checked and there is nothing binding or rubbing on the disc. it seems to start at approx 20mph and keeps going until the car comes to a standstill, using the brakes also doesn't make it stop. any ideas ?

i am doing mine at the moment and only have 1 wheel with major kurb damage so am going to use unibond metal filler from screwfix . i am going to give them a few coats and a clear laquer

when i done mine i used a very fine artist paintbrush and put the colour on the stonechip in layers. i think i had to do about 6-8 to get it to look good , then i put a layer of laquer on. job done.

i have brought brand new cars over the past few years and have lost so much money, from now on i only bye a car that is 3 yrs old to save the massive depreciation. before my lexus i had a honda crv sport on 53 plate. i was offered £6k from the dealer i brought it from but managed to sell it for £8k loosing £1.5k from when i brought it. i brought my lexus off one of my customers for £2500. 2001 is200 sport . fsh. 2 owners 78k miles ...... when he said he was selling it i thought it would be silly money but he said he wanted £3k and i went to have a look interested and managed to knock him down to £2500 cash......... WHAT A BARGAIN

i done mine today using just a trolley jack and 2 bricks. jacked up the front and sat the wheels on the bricks to give me enough clearance to get under the car. oil drained and managed to get my arm up and remove and replace the oil filter without removing the plastic covers. was a bit messy with the oil filter but wiped off what i could then jetwashed under the car. job done in about 20mins .......

i brought the polishing kit off ebay last week and it arrived today ,so hopefully will have a practice at the weekend. I think i will do the exhaust trim 1st then have a go at my wheels.

i had this crackeling / gurggling noise i found out that the expansion tank bottle needed topping up . dont know if this helps
