Yes, thats the car, but if you look at the link, its actually a P regd vehicle, shes still in that condition, runs absolutely perfect, i couldnt believe my luck when i found out about this car, its changed somewhat now, the last owner put brand new 18in wheels on it, tinted the windows, she looks superb, he also gave me the original wheels

Thats the one, she is a lovely car indeed, i believe was owned by two doctors and a previous member on this web-site; it looks different now though; the previous owner fitted 18in alloys wheels and has tinted all the windows, looks great; he gave me the original wheels and tyres should i wish to put it back how it was; the sad fact is though, that im more than likely being made redundant in January and she may have to go. I have owned Mercs/BMS/Jags and Audis in the past and this car in my own opinion is in a class of its own. Cant see how to upload pics on here, if anyone can tell me how to do so i will upload the pictures of how the car looks now.

My Radio/CD/Cassette/Air con unit works fine, just doesnt illuminate. Could this be a fuse or more than likely one or two of the capacitators gone down; also fitted a new lexus aerial last week and now reception is poor, worked spot on before changed the aerial, possible earth problem? Forgot to say, its a 1996 Lexus LS400 Thanks

Has anyone ever had a rattle from the passenger glove box? Cannot see anything obvious, its bloody annoying because you cannot here the engine at all, just this annoying rattle. Definitely the glove box, because if you drive and leave the glove box down, car is silent. Even tried putting some 5mm thick tape in the corners, still bloody rattles. Crazy.

Hi everyone, my power steering pump has started to leak slightly, I guess this is the old o-ring hardening, not sure. Anyone know where I can source the kit as might as well re-furbish whilst its on the bench. Thanks Ike

i also have the same problem with my radio and air con panel not lighting up, ie no bulbs illuminating, could this be a capacitator fix as well?

Might an idea to have it one evening, say a thursday, light nights now and beautiful weather, doesnt interrupt any families weekends, possibly get more in attendance

Thanks Anuj, really appreciated, have uploaded all five videos, really useful. The 5 spoke alloys are Wolfrace Shark with brand new tyres, cost the guy i purchased from £800, i didnt originally want the wheels as i am 53 this year, but when i saw them on the car, complete with the tinted windows, i had to have them. It was not the guy in the video, another chap from Worcester, the car was advertised for 1400 and we agreed a price on 1100 with the original wheels on the car; in the end i got the car for 1500 complete with the 18in split rim wheels and the spare set of original lexus wheels with tyres. The car had just gone through its MoT with £175 spent on the car, complete with 5 months tax. Absolute bargain in my opinion. Drives superb and in top class condition. Only thing(s) wrong with it, broken aerial, he supplied me with a new one, will be fitted tomorrow. The temperature display works fine, but does not light up, the radio display works fine, but again, does not light up. Those couple of niggles dont bother me, but I want to get it sorted, im hoping someone can help me here as im sure it is a small resistor problem that actually sends power to the bulbs. Maybe you could help. Again, thank you Anuj. Ive Just purchased an LS, last week, temperature control and radio works fine, as does the display. Only problem is, it doesnt light up, dont think it is the bulb(s), has anyone got experience of this and how to fix and where to get the bits from. Thanks ivan

Car came with Wolfrace Shark 18in alloys with the polished rims and brand new tyres, cost the guy 800 quid, he let me have them for 400 inc tyres; gave me the old set of lexus wheels as well, complete with tyres; so in all the car cost me 1500 all in; as i said previous, got to replace aerial and find out about the display on radio and air con not lighting up, its as if the bulb has gone

how do you post pics?
