  1. Jay. You only need one pulsing unit for all the brake lights, you simply use one unit and tap all the other brake lights into it!!
  2. I've just got some winter socks for mine, will report what they are like next time it snows
  3. The fog light button also works when the fog button is pressed in. I also did the mod and the car does look miles better!
  4. My old IS200 (son has it now) is quite good if you leave the TRC on. It seams to spin one wheel then the other, which kind of makes it "walk" about
  5. My old one will hopefully be around forever. Its an 05 Plate IS200 SE Auto, and sold it to my son when i got my GS450H Sport, and he says its being kept forever, unless something happened to it :(
  6. PePiPoo: Helping the motorist to get justice
  7. Mine seams to crawl about if im very light with the throttle. Must be the H system that dosnt put too much power down
  8. The Limited edition ones came with HID's. When i had my 05 reg one, had full leathers, armrest, the only thing that was missing was power.
  9. We have had around 10" in Manchester. Its quite deep and main roads are moving very slow
  10. No saloon car has a rear wiper these days!!!! When i had mine the only thing was power really!
  11. I don't get why they don't like Lexus, and Hammond's comments of "It's just a Lexus" really winds me up, end of the day you could say that about BMW's - Its just a BMW!! The noise thou is amazing, and its like Clarkson said "its like an old F1" car. The attention to detail is very good : Where the right paddle shift is lighter than the left (so you know your going the right way) and how the mirrors force air into the vents, and how most of it is carbon fiber to keep the weight down, and the dials have to be computerized because analog ones can't keep up with how the engine gains and loose rev's so fast! If i had £320,000 i would try to buy one, as i don't think theres anything out there like it! The price is steep, but it has taken them 9 years, and is mainly made from carbon!!
  12. I think its a grom adapter people use, and only can use an ipod or cd player at the same time. CD player is a 6cd inside the stereo
  13. Mines says TRC OFF and when its working it has a yellow car which looks like its slipping
  14. I turn the T/C off if the car begins to slow down to much, as i find spinning the wheels normally keeps you going a little bit further. The BMW system starts instantly thou, and does not "turn" the engine over like you would expect, it fires instantly
  15. Auto's are fine with the charger's, but turbo becomes risky as the Auto box can't really handle the power of a turbo
  16. The strange noise in the Auto is the traction control, and is coming from the box. Also, the brakes don't lock the slipping wheel. The wheel with less friction spins because it does not have an LSD, which means the wheel with less friction spins. Im aware the only system that uses brakes part of the TRC is the ones with things like VSC Try this. Park on wheel on ice, and the other on solid tarmac, you will still have a job moving the car!
  17. TRC does not kill the engine, it just reduces engine output even further when one or more wheels does not have traction. If you go outside on some ice, plant your foot down with TRC on, it will let the wheels spin minimal. Turn the TRC OFF, and the wheels will spin all the way to the rev limiter. Snow mode also reduces throttle response and power. In my old Auto, snow mode changed gear at 4500RPM even if my foot was flat down. On the manual, if you sit on your engine, drive very slowly and put your foot down, you will see the throttle body only opens a certain amount
  18. They are in a different League thou!! They can be compared to the M5. Watch out for the C class mercs, the onlys that are packing a 6L V8 under the bonnet!
  19. Yeah. Despite the figures on paper, it does keep with a lot of cars which it shouldn't do. I managed to keep the same distance from an M3 the other week, and he slowed off just to have a look what i was driving. Thats the best thing i think about the GS, the constant acceleration
  20. Im sure they need a change around 50K for the auto box, and IMO you better off changing it early rather than late. Im sure the IS200 Auto colour should be a red colour, and does go dark the more it needs changing
