    Is200 Interior

this is a long shot but I'm lookin for a complete interior for an IS200, post04' interior full black leather in good to mint condition, will travel/arrange courier thanks
  3. charles hurst belfast, boucher road, lexus dealer but price for genuine parts from them is same as anywhere, I've had to replace a few things from fuse box cover to shocks to lower ball joints and the prices even on trade through other accounts with different companies are the same maybe £2 either way for non genuine parts, Place in Bangor, balloo industrial estate, toyota/lexus specialists hardly ever touch another make of car and they use all genuine parts from lexus, labour is to the same quality as hursts but prices for the labour are cheaper, major service through hursts about £300, through specialists in bangor, £190, mostly using genuine parts from lexus, with exceptions of oil and the likes,
  4. thanks boys, have emailed spc bout couple things there so just waiting on reply and hopefully have a thumbs up
  5. wouldnt buy another car as i have the whole of the car with mountains of parts worth over 2grand in a year just to try perfect the car inside and out and know everything about it and the work done etc so i plan to put this car through another 100k miles or more, a long lasting relationship so only upgrading what it already has, just want an upgrade in engine not start again really,
  6. Looking at a couple of engines, was thinkin of the beams tuned altezza lump, 210bhp but also the generic celica turbo unit, the 3sgte, for 255bhp turbo power, basically looking for a easy enough build, can get a recon 3sgte lump with ancils ecu wiring turbo etc for around 950 and the beams engine including box and ecu etc for around 1200 I'm guessing the altezza lump is the most straight forward lump to drop in but what about the 3sgte? is this similar or require alot more work to make it work, I have another post about different modifications looking into as i have around 2grand a side for the lexus parts and deciding where to go with it, to much to choose from and need some advice as i know alot of you guys have knowledge and experience on this situation, 2jz lump would be nice but would be too dear for my budget, most of the work would be carried out by myself or family friends rally prep business so cost for modification wont be as high just need the overview of the work involved, thanks in advance for any knowledge or advice
  7. well to be fair 144lb of torque isnt much but it works well in the design of the car, the is200 is a comfortable cruiser which i could never fault, and his has the power through out the rev range i find even in 6th gear to put the foot down and over take happily on motorways or any other situations, power is there in the car just not flat out acceleration or speed but as i said, car wasnt built to be a balls out speed machine, its a business mans or family luxurious vehicle, it does its job well through out its life whether it be 50k miles or 130k miles, I have an IS200 sport with just under 120k miles and i've driven a car similar to mine with less than 60k miles and didnt notice any different, I couldnt fault my IS in anyway, regular services and change the worn brakes bushes etc like you should do on all cars and it stays like new, very reliable, want a fast car, buy an mr2 or an evo etc, want something with enough power to keep you going for a long time and in comfort to give you the driving pleasure forever then buy an IS, I dont think i could change my IS for anything, looked at jags bmw merc audi etc and none of them felt anywhere near as comfortable or solid as my lex, so i disagree that it is underpowered, i beleive it is a perfectly balanced car and does its duty proud!
  8. cheers guys, have to do some enquiries into the HKS Vs Blitz then, think prefere the tail pipe on the blitz but want the type of sound you've described, decisions decisions! what air filter you running with the HKS?

  10. Hello folks, just looking at adding a few subtle mods to my IS200 sport now business picked back up again have a few extra spends, would like to know where I can get my hands on a legana front bumper with fogs etc, found copies etc but travelled to a company south of the border in Ireland to see them but theyre copies were poor, so waste of 250mile round trip :( ah well, also how easy is it to DIY your lights into blackened jdm reps? and can you get replacement lenses for the headlights as i have a few stone chips in mine would like them looking perfect or have to buy new items? any help much appreciated cheers
  11. Cheers Folks, just spent all morning doing my usual cleaning and polishing the car while the missus complains and nags haha cheers Stav, will look into it, is there a big following in Northern Ireland or any dedicated annual LOC shows/meets?
