  1. As l am going to be out of the UK between now and New Year, l am considering buying a car cover for my IS 200 SE. Can anyone reccommend any particular make that wont scratch the paint whilst it's on it ? Many thanks B. Penhaligan (drbarrie99@aol.com)
  2. The sneeze A man and a woman were sitting beside each other in the first class section of an airplane. The woman sneezed, took out a tissue, gently wiped her nose, and then visibly shuddered for ten to fifteen seconds. The man went back to his reading. A few minutes later, the woman sneezed again, took a tissue, wiped her nose, and then shuddered violently once more. Assuming that the woman might have a cold, the man was still curious about the shuddering. A few more minutes passed when the woman sneezed yet again. As before, she took a tissue, wiped her nose, her body shaking even more than before. Unable to restrain his curiosity, the man turned to the woman and said, "I couldn’t help but notice that you've sneezed three times, wiped your nose and then shuddered violently. Are you OK?" "I am sorry if I disturbed you, I have a very rare medical condition; whenever I sneeze I have an orgasm." The man, more than a bit embarrassed, was still curious. "I have never heard of that condition before" he said. "Are you taking anything for it?" The woman nodded, “Pepper."
  3. Hello everyone............l have an IS200 SE model and am seriously considering having the above lights fitted somewhere along the front of the car underneath the existing Spot-Lights. Has any of you tried this before, or have you any ideas as to why it wouldn't be possible? Your thoughts/ comments would be much appreciated Cheers Barrie(Dr) drbarrie99@aol.com
  4. "My local garage informs me that, being made of plastic and not glass, there is no type of polish abvailable that would 'polish it out' so hence my request for help on this forum" Well, what a load of bunkum that advise was...thanks to 'Ormi' who showed me that it can be done and even sent pictures to prove it and then the very kind offer from 'Lexynick' who arranged to see me this morning and physically polish it out, l have now got two beautiful shiny headlights once more. What can l say......"Thank You" seems inadequate but it just shows what a friendly bunch we are here in this Forum Safe driving Barrie (Dr) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Politicians and babies nappies need changing regularly..................................................... usually for the very same reason !!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  5. Hello everyone............just recently l have noticed that the front of my o/side headlight has started to appear slightly opaque, almost as if someone has wiped across it with something abrasive. My local garage informs me that, being made of plastic and not glass, there is no type of polish abvailable that would 'polish it out' so hence my request for help on this forum. Can it be polished out, or if not, what is the cost of a brand new headlight? Many thanks Barrie (Dr) drbarrie99@aol.com
  6. Nick (and others that e-mailed me) It was so nice to meet you Nick and l am very glad to be able to give them a good home. They were far too nice to simply become 'Landfill' items. As previously stated, welcome back to the 'Lexus Fold' Drive safely Barrie (Dr)
  7. YES..........you did read it correct. l have replaced the alloy wheels and tyres on my IS200 SE and the originals can be had by simply collecting them. The wheels are slightly scuffed in places but the tyres have, in my opinion, quite a few more miles left on them. The tyre sizes states...215/45 ZR 17. lf anyone is interested, please e-mail to arrange a mutual time to collect them. l live within 12 miles of 'Brighton' on the South Coast. drbarrie99@aol.com
  8. Asi.....Could you please tell me the advantages of fitting these? What would you consider selling yours for and......are they easy to fit ?
