  1. OF COS, there are 2 clips at the front, lift the seat up form the edge,, that it. I found 5 pounds under that last time, I only wanted to do a quick clean. Felix
  2. ask for the "big James", mention my name and LOC, they may charge you less. Felix
  3. i did mine spare one at Duplicut in Birmingham. cost £5, laser cutting machines, google the name. felix
  4. a few years ago, my missus had a FWD Japanese RX on LPG(we paid for the conversion) for two years before she got this 350. it was a great car. yours is a AWD M8. Felix
  5. this is no ad I got mine done at city power coaters ltd in b'ham Google the name Felix
  6. it takes one week. this is what I did: I got a spare wheel off ebay for £10. got this one and my spare dropped to the power coaters, they called me 3 days later, so I picked them up and swiped with my two front ones. (using same tyres as they are new), dropped the rims to them again, 3 days later they called, and I have my two rear ones swiped. then, I got the last two rims done, and am selling them on to make my money back......(not here, don't want to break any rules) he he he he he Felix P.S. so it will not cost me anything in the end
  7. Parthiban, for the diamond cut finish you need to CNC the wheel, talking about over 100 / wheel. if someone from the "power coaters" offers the diamond cut, surely they don't know what they are talking about. Felix
  8. hi m8, it's not expensive at all, £30 / wheel. if any power coater tells you they can do the diamond cut, don't let them do your wheels, cos they don't know what they are talking about. the one I went do 100s wheels a day. They worth every penny 8m. Good luck
  9. Hi guys, only a quick one to share the latest thing happening to my IS. it's done at one of my local power coater. from this: to this:
  10. that's the one I am going to get, however, I am getting it locally same thing but only £18.25. and checked with Slick people, it works on all engines/oil inc the one I am using which is 5w30 full synthetic. also, checked with my LPG people, it's fine on their system too. I booked mine in for a 6 month service in end of May, as I did the 60k service just after new year. Will put it to the test, I am happy to give it a go and report back to you guys. Felix
  11. ?????????????????? what's your colour if it's Black, I think you should get a red, it's Platinum Ice, I think you should get a green..... he he he....
  12. read others, I withdraw my advice.
  13. very nice mate, however, there will never be a finish point in my view. he he he Felix
  14. ANYTHING after 6 years or 60-70K is not worth to pay the dealer price in my view, and it not going to get you any added value when you selling it. Felix
  15. I thought to get one ages ago, however I didn't after seen one on my mates' car. It is very BIG.
  16. I am not having a go with you, it's a clearly bag of BuXX ShXX. you must spent most of your time on Physics lesson chatting up girls.
  17. they are from Taiwan. We buy containers' car parts from them every months, I had a pair those for my missis RX. didn't want one for my IS, if anyone wants the phone number, PM me. Felix
  18. I think so. check the link..... Felix
  19. Just a quick feedback on my issue: She has been checked by Toyota B'ham. (charged for a hour) there is nothing wrong with neither all suspensions nor all wheel bearings. only thing they found was something called D-bushes "may" need replacing with next service. so I told myself : Stop worrying for nothing, enjoy it. Felix Actually this does sound similar to the noise I was getting at low speed, although I'm no mechanic i do know that if you jack your car up you can then grab the wheel from its sides and the basically try to wiggle it. If there is play in the form of lateral movement then something needs replacing whether it's just the bearing or the whole assembly you wont know but it'll give you an idea. I hope it isn't this though mate.
  20. I always take my car to B'ham, they always can "find" extra things need to be done, without you notice it, the bill become twice as much. not saying who is good or bad, just saying what actually happened. I would use a good Indy if it's on 90K. Felix P.S. you can pm me, I am in B'ham and know a few good specialist around who don't charge a earth for their as good work.
  21. that just shows how important to keep on top of your servicing. twice a year, that's how I do it. costs next to nothing. 25 ish on my Auto, mixed driving Felix
  22. very good looking car, always be my choice of colour. looking forward to see her get super-charged. Felix
  23. yes, mate, you are right, I will check with my installer, which I don't think they will have issues with that. I am bit "Green" person, and I had all my family cars done (5 of them, even the one cleaner/house keeper uses, inc the RX Missis uses) and 10 Vans in my London branch (congestion charge reasons). All other branch Vans run on Bio-diesel) only one I had issue with was 8 years ago, that was a BMW Z3. (don't laugh) Yes, I did hear a lot of stories about the LPG on IS200 bla bla.......... I just love the IS200, not cos I can't afford an IS250, I just love it. The way I look at is this, if one day the engine did dead on me which I don't think it will, I just get other good 2nd hand engine costs from 400-800, most likely I will get the best one I can get hold of. and stop using LPG on the new engine. I can see most of my staff all drive "better" or "newer" cars than me, so what......... Felix P.S. in my case, as I use the installer to do all my cars/vans, I only paid 1200 cash for the best system suits IS at his cost (normally 2000)
  24. Yes mate, converted Feb this year. on petrol I get about 25MPG, on LPG I get about 23MPG which is normal to have 5-10% drop. Felix
  25. he he he....... lexynik mate, I believe you. I have seen those ads on those shopping channels back to even 90s, never bothered to try them, now it's an idea time, I will give it a go. Felix
