Nice, What model corolla is that? What do u think of it so far and whats planned for the IS you brought back from the insurers?

I thought Moto V2 & 3 were notoriously bad with their bluetooth connections . . . it might be that . . .I had a V3 for a while but i used it on my Aftermarket HU in my old IS200 and it kept drifting in and out of connected state . . .have you consulted Lexus themselves or your handbook? Btw excellent looking car - very jealous!

Yh i did look at bazzas but i really cant stretch to that sorta figure - plus i might have to fork out more on the insurance depending on the outcome. Will jus have to keep huntin i guess . . .

Hi All, As some of you know i have recently had an accident in my is200 and it pretty much looks like it'll be a write-off. So whilst the insurance company is still umming and ahhing i've already started to look for another IS as it is a car that has everything i would need. The old model i had was an SE with lots of added extras like factory Satnav and tints and it was a 2000 X Reg. I only bought the car just over 3 months ago and it had covered 77000 from new. I would be looking for pretty much the same sorta spec - not too bothered about satnav tbh - with full service history and a decent amount of tax and MOT. Depending on what the insurers say is think my budget is restricted to a max of £3800. This coincidentally is about the same as i paid for the old car . . .so any offers would be greatly appreciated P.S I am trawling ebay, auto trader, exchange and mart and pistonheads on a daily basis but all suggestions welcome if you see a bargain to be had!!

Well done redz, ur system sounded top notch and i my mind is still bogglin from some of the mods you have done . . . . . if only i hadn't crashed . . . . ah well can't have everything . . . . .

Hi mate, Theres a set on fleabay ending soon front and rears. . . . . theres always some knocking about on there anyway. The main difference is that the OEM ones fit inside the window seal i think instead of the cheapo ones that stick with tape like stuff! :)

I think a swift yet powerful left hook, followed by a few jabs to the head finished off with an uppercut knocking out several teeth would normally solve the ignorant comments about Lexus that we all get from time to time . . . . . Failing that you could always give them the finger . . . pointing to customer satisfaction surveys carried out by JD Power . .thats shuts most people up!! :winky:

yh i gotta say all the other gears apart from reverse are unbelievable - i feel like im driving summat a lot faster and the throw is virtually non existent - it feels like ma dads old Ford Cosworth gearbox!!

I did put quite a lot of gearbox grease on the shifter but ill have a go at putting a bit more in the gearbox opening itself. Thanks for all your help guys, Would be great if i could find out where to get the trd shifter from and how much it cost

where did you get the TRD one from Gord? Was it expensive?

Hey all, Recently purchased a B&M kit of the bay for decent price - I fitted it today; forward gears work like a dream but selecting reverse seems to be almost impossible to select without using TWO HANDS!!?? I'm pretty sure ive fitted correctly and got my old man to have a look at it too (he's a mechanic) and we can't figure out why its so stiff when trying to get into reverse. Reading some of the other posts i see that other people have encountered the same problem but not to the same extent - i mean i'm no weakling but this just seems ridiculously hard to do! Any help or advice on this much appreciated . . . thanks,

yes it is - mine also has the sport logo etched into the glass on the rear quarters!!
