The car will not be my main car budget was £1500,then £2,000 but then pushed it up to £2,500 to be honest would like to get one for £2k or less Yes i mk4 would be nicer, we are now thinking about having a LS400 as our main car, and buying an loder car for work. would have about £8,000 to spend on a new model,would like to know what that would get me. Have seen a few on Autotrader that lookded nice. but still do like the older ones too, sure it would make things easier if i brought two of them :-) Lee

Thanks for that Steve, to be honest my 1st budget was £1500,then £2k,now up to 2500 lol We aslo need a car family too,so dont really want to spending 3k,though i would love to spend more on one, I was looking at a 2002 Lexus ls 4.3 with 43k on the clock he wanted 8k i asked him if he would take 7,600 and he said yes, now all i need to do is ask my wife lol Thnaks again Lee

HI this is my 1st post,sure it wont be my last. what a great forum this is,i have been spending hours looking at the forum,so much so my brain is starting to hurt lol I have been thinking for some time about buying a LS400,and now i think the time is right to just take the plunge. I have a max budget of £2,500, so what can i hope to get for this price? I was thinking of buying a mk3 or mk 4 ,then was told that it may be a good idea to go for for the m4, so guys im really in your hands,please feel free to offer any advice+ tips,because boy do i need it lol Im based in Surrey,and look for to chatting with you all soon.
