  1. Gotten me a lovely 600h. Very pleased, and when the bluetooth connection just, well, connected I was over the moon. One thing the salesrep said that "if I had a blackberry curve" then the phone book would also sync. I can't get that feature working with my phone. Has anyone been able to sync the contacts with an Android phone (TMobile G1 or a Vodafone HTC Magic) ?
  2. aw, crap. After waiting for a little bit, I traded it in. Now I see the interest ! Aw crap. Again :( never mind. thanks anyways.
  3. Sounds daft, but I suppose I want it to find a decent home ;) It's been a very reliable, lovely car and I feel quite guilty about just trading her in for a new model :)
  4. Looking to buy a used 600h, and currently have a LS400 '98. Been offered a trade in of between £600 and £1000 - so would it be worthwhile selling it privately or taking the Part-ex ? Had a service 2 weeks ago, MOT till August 2010.
  5. Thanks - I already have tried that, but will try again. Does anyone know how to bypass the satnav part, so that the main computer will at least boot. I *need* to change the default audio settings ! ;)
  6. Oooh. Can anyone confirm that they are the same ? /me goes a-googling ..
  7. Good evening, all. First post here, so go gentle on the newbie :) I've got a 98 S reg LS400. Wonderful car. Except now the satnav computer thingy in the boot has gone walkabouts. Dealer says the the component is broken, and wants 3.5k for a new one ! I know that I can buy a tom-tom, but my biggest problem is that because the satnav won't boot, I can't get into the main computer and change settings, audio settings etc. Can I bypass the satnav computer and get my main computer up and running again ? The error "Cannot read CD-ROM. Please check CD" appears on the screen. The unit ejects and accepts the CD, and it appears to spin up, but nothing after that. Does anyone know where I can get a (very) reasonably priced replacement ? TIA. Julian
