  1. I too have an 04 300SE-L and i used the update site in the same way as you, i just ordered what it said and it works fine.
  2. There is also a button at the bottom of the fascia well below the steering column. it is VERY IMPORTANT to switch off the air suspension BEFORE ever jacking up the car. To do this, with engine running press the button once and you will see the yellow OFF light come up on the dash just below the Hi N Lo indicator, then switch off igniton and work on car. When work finished, start engine, press button once and OFF light will go out.
  3. I think you'll find it is the adaptive front lighting system afs. Best get it plugged in to a diagnostic tool to read the data. It may be linked to your condensation problem in a headlight.
  4. Hi people, i've found it to be caused by a solenoid valve on the edge of the air pump system under the offside rear wheel arch. The solenoid is not available separately and lexus offer a new pump unit for a LOT of money, but the same solenoid is used on the air tank under the passenger floor and i found it was possible to buy that solenoid then make it fit where needed and it worked! Regards Phil James.
  5. Hi, I have a lexus rx300 04. I am a car electrician and i have wiring diagrams for the rx 2003 on. Send me an email address and i will send a diagram for the mark levinson system. I have known these amps to fail. www.carelectrician.co.uk regards Phil James
  6. Hi, the same thing happens with my 04 rx300. I am a car electrician/diagnostics specialist and i checked my system with emissions equipment and scope. The car starts up and runs on petrol for the first 5 or 10 mins depending on temperature so petrol is always used to begin with. I did however discover that the air filter had not been changed and was causing an air restriction affecting both lpg and petrol, perhaps you should check yours and have the injectors tested when running on gas to see if they are switched off like they should be. Apart from that i have to say i'm not over impressed with the system. Regards Phil James. www.carelectrician.co.uk
  7. Hi, if you have an ipod connection it may be possible to re configure that or better still contact/look up VAIS Technology in america, they are great at supplying interface connectors for ipod/md/mp3 regards Phil
  8. Hi, I've had a couple of these doing this, fault usually with a solenoid on the air pump, expensive little b though! Found a way to modify it in my workshop!! :)
  9. Hi gang, It seems to me that more than one or two RX's are developing problems with air suspension, where the system sticks on N with the 'off' light flashing. I've read stories about £2000 repair bills for complete pump assemblies! Scary huh? Well when i diagnostic check the system it says exhaust valve fault (yes there's an air exhaust valve on the pump unit) but when i dismantle it, clean it, re-assemble it then check it's operation with a test probe there seems to be nothing wrong with it, it's resistance is 3.2 ohms. But still it puts up the same fault code! Any ideas?
