Thanks its on going project aswell as my daily driver looked into hydraulic suspension simple kit up down in the UK roughly £2200 a few years back found one company in the UK for a body kit but didn't have the full kit in stock just the skirts and rear bumper and that's it will have to fabricate some sort of kit myself at some point and make the curtains would work out alot cheaper lol

Yes but it could also just be slammed big wheels and little upgraded touches to the exterior and interior to make it into VIP in my view i would like to have it more on the executive boardroom style of the VIP side as most parts to get them shipped to the UK would cost an earth and as we all know there is very little in aftermatket parts available yo us here

The plan was to keep everything looking standard just to bring it up to 2012 spec as you can see the modifications have all been kept neat and tidy so its not obvious to most people other than those of us in the know also using good quality parts also makes a major difference as the quality is kept in order with the Lexus refinements I am looking at getting the bottom half resprayed at some point and try and source some decent set of OEM Lexus wheels from the new generation as to the tints it would only be ultra light smoke keeping to factory set ups exhaust will have to be custom built but that also will be kept looking standard no loud bore hopefully once finished it will be a clean example I have owned it over 3yrs and it has only needed a battery alternator and starter lower arms very extensive history which I have kept going now consisting of 15 stamps

it could be a siezed calliper and as for the clunking noise check that the calliper bolt is in and tighten as one of the mechanics apprentice forgot to do one on mine and i had told them to recheck to make sure all was tighten relived the clunking noise for me -
or you can try the meguires plastix on thge headlights and for extra quick results as above message and use the meguires plastix as the compound i have used it on all classic cras and have had good results as the layers build up it will get clear

i used to work gor a tyre company i would say go to a local tyre company and ask the to reseal the tyres as sometimes the beading can loosen it can be due to not haven sealent fitted in the first place commonly with part worn tyre or not having the inside of the rim cleaned before applying new tyres once you have that done if the problem occurs then it might be due to the fact that the tyre might have deformed in some way if its a brand new tyre you will still have warrenty against defects

That's a good price considering majority of people's premium have risen I managed to get my mk1 gs for £400 fully comp 10 years NCB and 33 years old I was well chuffed saved £200 from last year meant I could also get my Nissan 200sx insured to lucky for me the first time since I've been buying insurance I finaly got a quote that I'm happy with what I have realised is have a fair price in mind and try and get it as close as possible to that as most insurers can match any quotes if they want to especially if they have not met there targets

I have had the pleasure of driving the legendary aristo and that is a sleeper but as to the NA more of a crusier than a brusier but as we here in the UK are definately always getting taxed on everything and paying over the odds for parts compared to our counter parts in Japan/oz/USA as parts for all Jap models are readily available off the shelf weather it be performance /styling or out right outrageous Batman alloy wheels lol as with model spec we only got a couple of basic engines as our counterparts around the world enjoyed the twin Turbo 2jzgte and the 1uzfe 4wheel drive version of the gs mk1 and 2jzgte vvti mk2 gs

sods law bought a performance cat back system for my nissan 200sx s14a and had it fitted only to go home to pick up my gs300 to find that the joint from the first cat or there abouts is blowing so if i go down the route to having a system built up from stainless steel if the first cat was totally removed would this affect the mot on the emission test as if i did build one it would be the silent type with a sports cat fitted in place of the secondary cat none of the rumble on the lex lol or will it be better just fitting both cats any advice will be much appreciated tahnks in advance
-
As the title says I am after an exhaust either standered or stainless for the gs preferably from the cat onwards any help would be much appreciated

I got mine from the UK check on aristo owners club and see if anyone is breaking I bought mine from an aristo owner who had been sponsored so bought the strut along with brand new RSR springs off him. And regarding mk2 struts might be too long as the bay looks wider ie strut to strut the only other option is buy an adjustable universal strut from sparco etc

I had opened the rad cap inc the resoviour cap to let the pressure out then dis assembled the HCV and fitted the new one with the lever on shut which is fully down attached the cable and then tried the fans hot air cold air all operational including fan speed and no leaks does that seem right or have missed out on anything
