  1. Can anyone look up or have the part number to your stock front bumper? Thanks in advance
  2. hey Mat, did they rebend this bar or does it come bent like that?
  3. i just found this picture of the tte v8 is430. Anyone now where i can get this strut bar? im wondering if it was custom made to clear the 430 engine?
  4. Question for you Mat. Y did u opt to go dual exhaust? i cant imagine the weight-to-hp ratio being better then with just a single. But u know a lot more, im just being curious george. ~advance
  5. im sure i can find a place here in town with one. To figure out the Exhaust Gas Out put, is it simpily the RPM x. the displacement?
  6. u need to get a hose and syphon the gas out into a container. If im correct, diesel doesnt not combust so its not good for your engine.
  7. So i decided to build a custom exhaust. There are many ways i can go about it. I have the choice of going dual or single, and mandrel or crush bent. Ive chosen to go single since the added weight-to-hp ratio is a lot better then going dual (having the added weight of another muffler and piping just doesnt make sence). Ill also go mendral then crush (naturally) since i dont want any unnessesary restrictions in the pipe. the problem with some exhaust like the HKS hyper is that during low RPM im losing power because the back pressure is low causing my flow velocity to also be low. I would like to get to a happy medium of no loss in low end torque and a gain on the high end. Okay here comes the tricky part. Hopefully some of u can help. I want to find a happy medium between the back pressure and flow velocity. Also find a good medium where for high RPM vs. Low RPM backpressure/flow velocity ratio. What is a good amount of backpressure and flow velocity?
  8. whats up, im back after a long break from the Lexus. Ive decided to start modding the Lexus again. Still deciding what to do next. I see everyones IS's are lookin better then ever. Must say Mats monster is turning out pretty awesome. I cant see where he came up with pink checkers but whatever. lol. ~advance
  9. hey, how much is this one? (no need to tell me about the GOLD discount)
  10. The L sportline is a smiliar mold but the the original one. It is not made at the factory but is made by "L sportline" which is an after market Lexus tuner. Heres some different mesh grille options: Dealer options: -the UK Sports Grill (comes with "L' and "sports" bagde) -TRD Sports Grill (comes with "TRD sports" badge) (can buy in painted fake carbon fiber) - ALtezza Sports Grill (comes with Altezza" badge" - L-tuned Sports Grill (comes with "ltuned" badge" ALL THE GRILLS ABOVE ARE THE SAME MOLD AND SAME MESH but different BAGDES After Market Mesh Grills - Lextasy Mesh Grill (Real Carbon Fiber) - L sportline (smaller mesh, no emblem) (will not fit on IS200's!!!!!)(only US and Canadian models) - Rod Millen Grill (smaller mesh and not as strong, with "Rod Million Signature" badge - Visage Grill (smaller mesh no emblem)
  11. i can get this grill for under 250 US dollars plus shipping but would take me about a month to get a hold on then to ship it to you. i might be able to get a hold on a used one as well. I must say, im not very impressed with this grille but people have different tastes i guess.
  12. Welcome. check out IS300.net too. many canadians there too

  16. Can anyone guess whats inside the box?? Zee, no telling!
  17. FYI- WAXMAN at IS300.net has the blue dash lights and also sells them.
  18. Hey, i was gonna private message you Zee but i thought someone else might be interested too. Anyways, i just got a JDM Altezza Sport Grill and i just put it on my car 2 days ago brand new. I think you got the European IS200 "sport" grill and was wondering if you or anyone else wanted to swap the inner grill or the whole grill (platinum silver). Both of the Grill have the same "mesh" im pretty sure but different emblems. I just thought it would be different for u in the UK to have an Altezza one and me to have a European one. So many people in the states have the "altezza" grill so i thought if u guys where interested to trade it, that would be sweet. heres a pic of the grill on my car (the mesh can come off by unscrewing some screws in the back) (kinda far away, sorry but ill see if i can get anotehr pic of it tomorrow)
  19. ADVANCE is from the states, Neil......... (although it doesn't say so in his profile - yet! does it ADVANCE?) Although I suppose it IS possible he might pop over for JAE yes, ur right its not in my profile yet.
  20. well i want the Euro plate if your bumper is gonna have the plate holder with it, but i wasnt sure if you were gonna keep it on the bumper for me. So i can just PM the admin? That would be so funny if i flew to JAE just to get a license plate. :D
  21. Okay, anyone know how much these are? the very thn and small TTE spoiler that goes on the boot. I dont need to here anything about GOLD so just dont even start with it.
  22. this is the best way i think to do it and this is how i did it. Take off the caliper by unbolting the two large bolts on the backside. Then with the brake fluid line still attached find some thing (i used a paint can) to set it on. Next take off the brakepads. Cover everything up with masking tape and newspaper (make sure to tape up the metal parts on the caliper but it not a big deal if they get paint (just looks better up close)). Put some paper inside the caliper too so u dont paint the underside. Before i painted i cleaned them with paint thinner. I also put lots of clear coat on them after applying the stickers.
  23. 10 to 1 says you are from .NET! haha. I saw the thread the other day about these. Anyways shoot me a PM.
