I have had a new battery drained twice now ,and my garage think,but don't know,thats its caused by the music system,now disconnected.They suggested I drive it for a while and if its OK then that was the problem.Eek-will miss my music!But seriously,they also told me it would need a head unit and cost £900 if I want a brand new Lexus music system.Is there no way round this?The car was on diagnostic testing and theycouldn't find anything else causing the drain.Any thoughts?

in my case it turned out to be brake caliper and it was expensive alas

how odd- i have just posted a question about the same problem,only developed today,but my lexus is 2oo (auto)just had service and new balancing etc.i will take car to garage tomorrow but in the meantime it sounds exactly the same prob you have(not that that helps much but i hope it isnt an is 200 fault

developed a worrying steering wheel wobble today but only after about 50mph,ok at lower speeds.tyres didn't seem to be falling off! am about as mechanically minded as our cats,and garage closed today,so has anyone any ideas as to the cause,please?

am new and along with noddy,a bit lost! also I hope its ok that my "new"lexus(new to me)is a bit old ie w reg.its an IS200 in silver and I have only had it 6weeks,but I love it,but I wish it had a satnav... any info advice etc would be welcome but don't get too technical,I'm a woman!!!!(joke)in my usual practical way ,I thought it might be a good idea for a garage to look at ,about a week after I'd bought it...but phew its ok(i think)..
