  1. My IS200 had the TTE charger kit + K&N filter + Blueflame exhaust and did the 0-62mph sprint in just under 8sec with 18" wheels It is a slow car so Turbo or engineswap a supra 3litre is the only way to get some speed.
  2. LOcKY nah no more Lexus for me right now..maybe in the future..I missed my Hondas so i probably gonna look at a Civic VTi´00 next week B) jay_russellyeah iám pretty satisfied with the price..the job hunt is going fine, working full time all year almost :)
  3. Well today my Lexus-adventure ended Sold it and it was good times for as long as it lasted
  4. Blueflame exhaust. looks great and gives a nice deep tone
  5. The gearbox feels strange and first to second and second to third can feel very "clunky" and the acceleration is not fast becuse it is a pretty slow car.
  6. Blueflame without even thinking twice...it is a catback, cheaper and sounds nice but not disturbing
  7. Its petrol, not magic dust. What it will do is governed by RON ratings and BS Nos. You need to get it from somewhere that sells a lot because the forecourt tanks tend to be cleaner, and it is a good idea to stick to the same type which saves the ECU from having to do much adapting. Specialist fuels do genuinely return measurably improved performance/mpg on highly stressed engines but Mr Average is unlikely to be able to detect the long-term difference - and ALL reports show that improvements, particularly in mpg fail to match the extra cost. and with all that said what is your point ?? i have to run atleast 98ron becuse of supercharger and here in sweden V-power 99ron is the same price as 98..not a difficult choice right.
  8. Normal driving with some heavy foot sometimes mostly city and Motorways i get something like 20-22mpg which is terrible for that kind of car. the best i got out of it is 35mpg at that was strictly motorway driving at 60-70mph and that is not good either. the engine is a relic and the gearbox got too short gearratio to be effective and add that to a heavy car with no power at all so i guess that is the outcome of the terrible fueleconomy. but the rest of car is outstanding..but i would like to have a IS300 instead of mine..proper engine for the IS model EDIT: Shell V-Power is the fuel i use,,nothing else comes near my car.
  9. Today i got my K&N airfilter, fitted it and reset the ECU..been driving for a while today and the car is faster than before..the exhaust and filter made a difference and the sound is great !
  10. have a look in my tread,,pics and clips of the blueflame :winky: http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=61887
  11. Here are some pics and 2 clips of my Blueflame Exhaust
  12. I would suggest Blueflame..just a nice deep sound that dont drive you crazy, suits the car very well i probably gonna take some photos and record the sound later today. EDIT: It does make a difference in speed, not much but enough to make a noticeble difference in my supercharged IS200
  13. lexuspalma thanks :-) they are Advan AVS racing model 5 with a custom paintjob
  14. you should not expect any powergains with a Panelfilter..maybe you can gain 2hp if even that...on a modified car like a supercharged or otherwise heavily modded car you might get 1 more ;)
  15. I fitted my Blueflame exhaust today and i must say it is good value..pretty good fitment and a nice sound...little bit on the quiet side. pics and movie coming up in a few days
  16. bought a 33-2030 K&N airfilter today to replace my Rav-4 paperfilter ohh and i haven´t recived my Blueflame exhaust yet either..shipment is slow as sh-t i must say
  17. Stevie yeah they might be a compromise but they do the work pefect on a IS200..i just wanted to go low and slow hehe and you cant beat the price of the BC´s for that purpose
  18. rideheight must be the mm you drop the car,,cant think of anything else...but yeah he got a point, say if you drop it 40mm on standard wheels and they change then to 18" the car might sit higher than before. 40mm is nothing,,think mine is dropped like 70mm or something B) The IS200 is Suv-ish in standard form i would say a 50mm drop is Ok for most roads.
  19. I can recommend BC-Racing running them on my IS200 and they are great.
  20. Recently put an order for a blueflame-exhaust again and it should arrive within 3weeks My latest purchase is a TRD gearknob, the standard chrome is looking a bit "used" so to say :)
  21. Ofcourse it will affect your ridequality,,it will be more harsh and bumpy becuse the shocks are not design to handle such springs, but hey it is worth it, who wants to ride a SUV
  22. those look awsum Ejan :D i was wandering if INOVIT SPARKLE 9 X 18 ( REARS ) 265/35/18 INOVIT SPARKLE 8 X 18 ( FRONTS )235/40/18 would these sizes fit ok on my is200 , shes not lowered yet ????? or should i stay with 4 X 225/40/18 ? hi and thanks :-) iám running front: 18"9"225/40 Rear: 18"9.5" 245/40 and my car got the Wheelarches rolled..i think that dimension would be undrivable if the arches were untouched...i cant say if your dimension would fit without a problem..probably not
  23. then i must have some massiv leaks then,,,gonna look around for a new intercooler...cant think of anything else that causes my low boost
