  1. Well i'm 23 as well... I'm with Swiftcover.com, i've only got the 1year NCB and i'm full comp... Paying £1230.87 :)
  2. I guess each to their own opinion. I've got 6000k dipped and also in fogs, here in B'ham. Yes they are not meant to be used during daytime etc.. though i've drove with them on almost everyday since i've had them fitted (about a month or so).. I've gone past cops atleast over 20times and not yet have I been pulled. I've probs got flashed by other drivers maybe twice/thrice but that's about it. Imo they look stylish and will certainly look even more stylish when i'll be driving with the fogs and a CCFL kit on! =) But for the folks who said they only use it the odd 4/5 times, then i'd agree it would be a waste spending so much on getting the conversion on the fogs.
  3. Could that be re-painted in Platinum Ice?.. Anyone know how much that would cost to get it re-painted?... Also anyone got pics with their IS200 with the TTE Bumper? Thanks
  4. That's nice... How dya do it?.... Tips please and also if you could direct us what we'd need to get? Lol, thanks
  5. Well I did message him on ebay, he said 380 Euros is his best price, that's including delievery.. So it's not bad at all.. Certainly considering it
  6. Thanks ynotshi! Looks great, i'm just worried about the postage price.. looks like a lumpsum!
  7. So i've come across this bumper: http://www.madmotors.co.uk/catalog/extreme...per-p-5032.html I find it very attractive with a decent price, however as i've recently got my Fogs also converted to 6000K Xenons, the last thing I want is to have a bumper without fogs. My question is how difficult would it be to modify the bumper? Would it be a simple case of getting some professionals to do a slight cutting drilling etc job? Or is it quite messy for a guy who knows nothing in regards to DIY? Does anyone have any links to where I can get a bumper like this one (I also believe it's just like the Legana V1?) Any help would be much appreciated guys, Thanks. =)
  8. I'm no expert at all but i've got a feeling it could be ur power steering fluid or something? Mine is also starting to make a very slight squeeking noise... Seperate question: How often should the power steering fluid be changed?
  9. Looks great ormi, if only you took some pics under so I would have a betta idea of what you've done lol P.S.. Might be a silly question but, is it ONLY legal to have switched on when the car is not moving..?
  10. Nice Job @ Parthiban!. I'm no good at connecting up looms etc so i'm gonna have to order the LED strips and get my electrician to do this lol
  11. I had a search for this and yes I did find an existing topic but it didn't answer my question.. Is there only 1 501bulb in the boot?? That's the only one I could find in the lil' plastic cage lol.. So i've replaced that with a white one I had lying around but it's still is proper dim!! So i'm wondering why are there alot more holes present on each side of the 501 in the boot???! Has anyone done any mods regarding boot lighting? Pics would be great! Cheers
  12. Argh i've got the same original crap 16" bol**cks lol.. I'm in need of a decent set of 18s!... Can't believe you lucky lot gettin' wheels for £200, £400 and £0.00!!! lolz
  13. Welcome to the LOC forum! Your dipped beams and fog lights will take HB4 9006 HID Kit Your main beams will take the HB3 9005 HID Kit Go to hids4u.co.uk <-- most members got their kit from there, decent price aswell. =)
  14. So... I've been gettin some dodgy ideas running through my head after checkin out all them pics of P.Lindolm and that Yemgi guys Lexys. For those who haven't seen there cars, here are a coupla pics: What i've got in mind is.. As i'm looking at a cheaper way to get my car looking that good (I'm on a tight budget).. I really don't wanna spend all that £££ on carbon fibre body parts. So I was thinking how about Carbon Fibre Vinyl Sheets??... What do you all think? Would it make the Lexy look too cheap? (Do I disserve to be shot for this suggestion? :shutit: lol) I'm sure that the end product would look just as good.. Vinyl sheets would cost around £60? maybe less... and to get it put on professionally about £120? so that's £180 total? I want to get the vinyl placed on the front hood, top of the car, bootlid, middle of front lip spoiler, middle of rear lip spoiler and mirror caps. Anyhow i'm just being curious, so all your replies are welcome, just don't go too hard on me lol. Thanks! =)
  15. flyeris, Well yes it does make the vision considerably brighter.. Though i'd recommend you get the dipped beams done first, if that's bright enough then there's no need to grab another set. I only got the other set more for the stylish side rather than brightness, but yes they are very bright. :) jeffrosie, It's 35w HB4 9006 HID Kit that i've got in the fogs aswell as dipped, got them from HIDS4U. The light above the headlights are simply cheap LED Strips 24cm ones which you can get off ebay for around a £5!
  16. flyeris, They're the 35W =) Pathiban, I understand what you mean, but i'm just absolutely hopeless when it comes to fitting things DIY lol
  17. Hard luck mate, just a week though! I see you went for two kits, are you doing the full beams or the fogs as well? Just posted a topic! I only did the dipped and fogs, didn't wanna do the main beams as I hardly ever flash people lol (p.s sorry for delayed reply)
  18. Thanks Asi!.. Yeh the bodykit isn't all that.. it's cheap plasticy, however i'm thinking after the whole paint job, it'll just look as good as a genuine one..hopefully!
  19. I've bought myself this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/IS200-IS300-Altezza-...=item25579c2f8c Just curious for those of you whom have bought similar parts i.e spoiler/skirts/bumpers.. How much did you pay for the whole paintjob and fitting? What would you say is a decent quote? Thanks ALSO!!... Here's my 6000K HID Kits from HIDS4U fitted to my Lex! They're the Anti-Glare ones =) 1 set for the dipped and 1 for the fogs. It took the guy 1hour to fit both pairs and he charged me £60. Not bad?
  20. Looks great mate, i've been working on the exterior lights so far on mine, haven't had the chance to change the interior. Could you do me a great favour and name all the bulbs that you bought for each place? Thanks
  21. I made an order with HIDS4U on the 29th November (Sunday) for 2 of their 35W 6000K Anti-Glare Kits. Wednesday I phoned them, they said they don't have them instock! :( So gutted, they told me i'm going to have to wait till next Friday.
  22. There's no 'Buy It Now' option on the Ebay link :( EDIT: Just checked the message on Ebay! Thanks alot for saving it =). Give me a ring anytime tomorrow, if you don't get through, drop me a text i'll ring you back. Sat is cool, i'm just really eager to get it all fixed ASAP so that's why i'm bugging you alot.
