Well I have finally got my Is200 se on the road, had to change the rear pads & discs, less than £100 brand new, change all spark plugs £25 brand new, change a coil £20 used then I had a leak in the one of the hoses with water gushing out....soon resolved with dry ginger apparently its better than radweld, recommended by a mechanic......it is soooooo nice to drive now. Keep you all posted with how things go on.....Oh but I cant get my cd player to take cd's, oh well not the end of the world....

Hi just had my rear discs & pads changed. Drove it for a good 30 miles without any problems apart from the rubbing noise of new pads ? On the way back it was losing power & felt like it was juddery, like something in the fuel line ? Trc was flashing & engine management light was flashing & occassionaly staying on for long periods in between the flashing ??? Any ideas ???? It had been sitting for a good 6-8 months on a drive before we got it, so it is the first time its had petrol in it & been driven .

They said it was over heating, but it was a kwik fit garage that was doing the MOT ! They dont do anything apart from mot's, tyres & exhausts. So its still there for now, the said they would have a look at it later today ?

I have found someone who will supply pads & discs with postage for under £60.00 & found someone who will fit them for under £30.00, thats what I call a good deal.

I think you should ask for it to go to court & get one of these no win no fee solicitors & argue your case. If you were over the lights before they turned red & you only had to move because of an Emergency unit then I think you would have a good case.

Just taken the car for an MOT, they could'nt keep it going. They eventually realised it was over heating & they think it may be the heating sensor ??? Is that the same as a thermostat ? Any ideas where I can get one & how hard are they to replace ? I've not had chance to drive it yet !!!!

Has anyone got the cheapest garage in or around wigan area for rear discs & brake pads ? Cheapest quote I've had so far is £240.00 !

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW I CAN GET A MASTER KEY (3 BUTTONS) FOR THE IS200 ? I HAVE JUST BOUGHT THE CAR WITH ONLY ONE KEY (2 BUTTONS) & THE DEALER CANT HELP ME.
