  1. This 7" business got me thinking. Do you think a tablet would fit in there, an Android or something? Seen cheapo ones going at ~£140 so CarPuter time?
  2. has not set their status

  3. I needed the same update as you now do, PM me if you wanna. Your code is 86271-24124 -ignore the 'a' at the end. http://www.lexus-mapupdates.eu/ IS300/200 Gen1 Select 86271 then type 24124 Will take you to: PZ485-X01EU-09 159 Euros
  4. Exactly the same, just won't go into programming mode for the remote functions. As mentioned, new key has been accepted for the ignition. Thoughts?
  5. Rip off. Look through the forum and you'll find reference to cheaper, better products at ~£4.
  6. Hey all, help please: I don't really understand the numbers and just looking for a quick yes/no answer so here's asking: I've got the standard 17" 11-spoke alloys on my lex. Ended up getting stuffed with a recovery charge because I didn't get a spare to swop in (previous owner had taken it out and misplaced it). Seen a singleton 17" "Lexus" alloy that I could pick up. 7.5X17 ET45 PCD 5X114.3 BORE 60.1 My understanding from the IS200SE Specsheet was that the 11-spokes were 7.0x17 Questions: 1) Would this swap in and fit without any adjustments? 2) Would it take the same size tyre: 215/45/17? 3) Would the car drive funny, with 7.0 on one side and 7.5 on the other? Thanks in advance
  7. I should add to this. Get your quote from the online shop and take the quote to that local shop which would do the final fitting. Both you & the local shop financially benefit from cutting out that middleman.
  8. Do you have 2 sets of alloys, or do you actually change just the tyres?
  9. 5 years old & only 16k on the clock, so probably forever Beautiful & comfortable family cruiser. Or until I can afford an upgrade to something proven to be better (or it gets written off - like my last car ). Is the IS250 the current successor?
  10. Also found on the door frame, either driver or passenger, can't remember which. Anyways, the new code is 8P4, coz that's what I have. I am 'also' missing the spare, dunno what it is with these sellers. Maybe there's some mountain of IS200 17"s in some backwater place ;)
  11. Just a similar problem: condensation in my left fog. Unless it's easy, can't be bothered to fix it. Would there be any adverse consequence to the electrics if I don't fix it? Thx
  12. I 'too' have a IS200SE 2004 54 plate. Came with a single Master. Got a blank of eBay, cut by Timpsons. This worked (80 seconds is a looong time, be patient) for my immobiliser. Haven't got the remote to work yet so would like to collaborate with you on that front. See this link wrt Remote: http://www.clublexus.com/forums/attachment...programming.pdf

  14. Was changing my HiD bulbs today and... Idle mind got to thinking: what if you could use an angel eye to produce sufficient light output to replace the dipped. But the usual ONE ring couldn't produce the Lumens but whatif:
