  1. I have come to the conlusion that if you drive a Lexus, you are not suppose to go camping. I cannot get a towbar for my 2000 ls 400 Lexus or a . They also do not make roof bars for the ls400? Can somebody give me some advice? Wessel
  2. I bought a August 2000 model mark 4 about a year ago for £5000. It was in mint condition, new tyres and just had its 50000 miles service with the cam belt done. It has not cost me a sent since. I think lexus might have done me in by selling me a 2006 navigation disk for £140. I get 30 miles per galon on the open road and average 22 normally around home. I am thinking of getting IS 200 RIMS as my original rimms look very old by this stage. Great car and enjoy the luxuries of a £50000 car for £5000 pounds. Everything is still working. You will not be sorry even if you pay £5000. Wessel
  3. Can somebody tell me if there is a cheaper way to update my navigation system. It is a 2001 model and the cd is 8 years old. The only qoute I got was from Lexus for 200 pounds. That is more than a top of the range new navigator and updated maps.
  4. Yes you are correct, mine has an extra oil cooler fitted. I am looking for a tow bar for my 2001 Lexus ls400. It sounds like it is the same as the one for the Mark 111. Is mine a mark 4? I got a quote for 260 pounds (with vat) from Watling Engineering. Does that sound right? A local place quoted me 4 hours at 50 pounds per hour to fit. Does that sound fair? Do I need an extra oil cooler for my 2001 model? What will that cost me if I need it.
