  1. Hi, I'm looking for a local Indy repair/servicing garage in my area. I live in Alsager which is on the border of Cheshire and Staffs. to keep my 2004 IS 200 ship shape and roadworthy. All previous servicing and repairs have been carried out at local dealership garages, but alas due mostly to costs and the age of the vehicle I need some help in finding a cheaper but good alternative. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Hi all I have discovered a nasty stone chip on my drivers front wing of my IS200. It looks like a trolley may have dinged it in the supermarket, there is no dent - it has just took the paint down to the lacquer. The car is mint inside and out so want the chip repaired properly. I was considering chipsaway but having read forums on the internet I have heard they can sometimes be useless. What do you think? Can anyone recommend to me the best and most cost effecive way of repairing the chip so it appears as if it was never there. I know it is easily said get the whole thing resprayed at a bodyshop, but does getting a chips repairer at a fraction of the cost result in shoddy work? This I want to avoid Thanks in advance for any advice Dave
  3. Thanks, The previous owner was a policeman who retired from the force in 2004 and decided to treat himself to a new Lexus IS200, soon after taking delivery he was head-hunted for a job with a large security company who supplied him with a copany car. then in October this year he decided to retire again and update his very low mileage IS200 for the new 220 diesel model, luckily for me Lexus Stockport offered him £7000 in part exchange which he refused and advertised it in Autotrader for £8000. I saw the advert online soon after it was placed and arranged a next day viewing. He'd had a lot of interest from other interested parties but decided to sell it to me for £7800.
  4. bit late but here are the photos of the car
