    Part number is 17801-26010 and is also found in certain Rav 4s from November 05 onwards ;) I dont know if that is available over there either? Hope this helps. Andy

    Contact the service plan provider and you should be able to get a refund for what you have not used ;) there will probably be an admin charge and as far as I am aware they are non-transferable. Cheers, Andy

    Hi Alex, a genuine key and blade would cost you £284.77 inc vat and programming retail from me but I do not know what other dealers will charge. You also cannot reprogramme second hand remotes for these cars :( Andy HI Andy, I did not realise it is that expensive! I better not lose my 2 key remotes. Might be worth checking if your car or house insurance covers your keys just in case ;) Andy

    It is one of those "will it wont it" scenarios, it could fail tomorrow or go on forever but for peace of mind I would get it done, a switch is £67.25 + vat plus fitting. Andy

    Hi Malc, glad to hear you are still enjoying the LS :) I must admit I am thinking about getting another as I do miss her and bugger the fuel cost!! Anyway, I wonder if it is something as simple as the ignition switch contacts getting worn and not connecting properly? an old Volvo I had did exactly the same thing, replaced the ignition switch and all ok :) Andy

    Cordless phones, baby monitors or anything wireless have been touted as possible causes so it might be worth checking that option as well with your neighbours ;) Andy

    Hi Rick, trackside video would have been nice but never mind. It was a dealer competition that a couple of my colleagues won, as I was on holiday that week I offered to drive and bring the camera ;) Imagine my suprise to be told that someone had dropped out and would I like to drive???
