Hey Guys, Was looking through the spec sheet for the IS200, it says Manual top speed 134mph. Not being funny but I hit 140mph maybe 141mph????? What do you guys think?

The car is a 2000 year IS200 with full lexus service history. Everything is original on the car, no change made to ecu! Any other plausible solutions?? Cheers chaps!

Hey Fellas, Back with a problem, A few days ago I was at the petrol station (i was empty), put in 20Pounds, I was driving for a minute and noticed the needle was still on 'E'. Then it suddenly shot up. All good from then until tonight, i was empty again, went to the pump, put in 15Pounds and the needle didnt move when i got in the car. Its on 'E' all the time, but when i turn the car off it goes below 'E' and then back up to 'E' with ignition on! Please help. dont know how much fuel in the car!!!

Hey Guys, As you all know the Lexus alloys tend to corrode, I have a quote to get them refurbed for 250 quid which also includes getting them painted. I need your opinions on what colour to get it, I want a very chic and stylish look ;) I was think white, gun metal grey, black, blue anything really but need it to be the dogs bullox. Hey Guys, Got the IS200 a few weeks ago, its got 41000 on the clock and its a W plate so 2000 with FULL LEXUS SERVICE HISTORY. here is Lexus statement on warranties: Every new Lexus comes with a three-year/60,000-mile warranty cover, whichever comes first with no mileage limitation for the first year. Lexus Hybrid vehicles are provided with five-year/60,000-mile hybrid component warranty. Any defect that is attributable to a manufacturing or assembly defect under normal use is covered by the warranty. The warranty covers: Any defect attributable to a manufacturing or assembly fault Surface rust and paint defects appearing on any of the painted body panels due to a fault in material or workmanship All parts and labour Twelve years of coverage is provided against bodywork perforation (i.e. any holes through the bodywork from inside to outside) due to corrosion that is attributable to faults in material or workmanship. Bodywork includes bonnet, doors, boot lid and floor panel, but excludes parts attached to the body, such as mouldings, bumpers and hinges. NOW I HAVE 2 QUESTIONS: 1. ARE THE ALLOYS COVERED AS THEY ARE CORRODED 2. THERE IS SOME RUST ON THE DRIVERS FRONT WING -JUST ON THE CURVE OF THE BONNET (DOUBT ITS A STONE CHIP). ARE THESE COVERED??? Thanks Omid

Hey Guys, Picking up my lexus Is200 next week, its on a W plate which is 2000 and is a sport. I want to get the cable that allows my ipod to connect to the factory stereo, but i cant find a uk site to order one and dont know which one is the right one. CAN YOU TELL WHERE TO GET ONE FORM?? sorry if this is a repeat, could not find my answer. Also apparently the car has a CD changer (im thinking mybaye its an indash cd changer as opposed to a sperate one in the boot?? dont know if it even exist) But can i have both connected at the same time or 1 only. Hello, I am a newb and do not have a Lexus yet, I'm selling my BMW first then picking up the Lex, Its on a W plate IS200. I have been looking at getting a few upgrades but cant decide. What good are anti roll bars and can you guys reccommend some? and should i also get Braces, if so can you guys recommend some? Btw just want to say over the past month i have researching Lexus to prepare myself when i get mine and this site is amazing!!! Thx in Advance guys Omid
