  1. I've noticed that the red Lexus has finally sold, did you buy it Krise?
  2. I've test driven the Manchester car and it drove spot on and is unmarked. The discs and pads have also been recently replaced so that is one expense you wouldn't have to worry about. I suspect the dealer would be open to doing a deal of some sort too.
  3. It's still showing on the search results. Have you spoken to them?
  4. I've viewed the black one and if you're a perfectionist about your cars then I doubt you'd be happy with the condition. Black paint obviously shows more marks than other colours but this one has quite a few chips and scratches around the bodywork, the leading edge of the drivers side rear door was especially badly chipped. It looked like the driver had been catching it with something when getting in and out of the car. To be fair to the dealer they did say they would sort them but it wasn't for me. The drivers seat bolster was quite worn too.
  5. The silver is-f in Sheffield has had a replacement service book at some point which has been stamped up for the last two or three years but anything before that is blank. Not good for a car of that value IMO. I've zoomed in on the photos of the blue one in London and I'm pretty sure it has Barum tyres fitted. Why would you fit such cheap tyres and it makes me wonder what other corners have been cut to save money. I suppose it could have been a lease car as some lease companies can be really tight when it comes to replacing tyres etc.
  6. Just a quick update to this problem. Now that the warmer weather is here I finally made an effort to have a look at the fuel gauge. I removed the speedo pod and carefully removed the clear perspex front cover so I could get up and personal with the fuel gauge needle. As I suspected the base of it was catching very slightly on the rear panel. Very carefully I pulled the needle away a fraction and now have a fully functioning fuel gauge, it's quite a novelty :D
  7. 60k. I paid £300ish (can't remember the exact figure) at Lexus Sheffield.
  8. Anyone? Ok, Ok ..I will try one more time... If your car is going to have some black areas I'd try a black spoiler, you can always paint it if you don't like it. I fitted a black spoiler rather than body coloured to my weekend toy
  9. Had to curve it to fit but it was easy to do, two pairs of hands will help though. Because of the cold weather I warmed the boot lid and spoiler with a hairdryer to help the tape to stick. Don't remove the backing tape in one go either, remove the first couple of inches and place the spoiler on the boot. Remove the backing tape as you curve the spoiler along the boot pushing down as you do so.
  10. Rubbish pic but you get the idea
  11. I'll try and get some later but the car's under an inch of snow and it shows no sign of easing at the moment.
  12. I've got one of the ebay specials and it looks great on my silver is. I got mine from American ebay as they seem to be cheaper, mine was £30 painted and delivered from Taiwan in less than a week.
  13. I've got a similar problem with my gauge sitting between 1/4 and 1/2 permanently. I suspect mine is a gauge fault as the needle doesn't drop when the ignition is turned off.
  14. If your car is an SE as in your sig it should have 17" alloys as standard, have they been changed at some point?
