hi All, My IS200 doesnt have a SAT NAV as standard.. but ive seen one at the local garage.. is it possible to fit this into my car.. i noticed i dont have the cable that is connected to the back of the SAT NAV.. so assumed its not possible... i would GREATLY appreciate your input on this ASAP ... maybe i can go back to the garage and buy the sat nav.. if its possible!!! await your response guys.. (help Ormi!! lol) izzy

hi all, with my previous BMW - I was able to close all windows when i remote central locked my car. its not the same with my lexus - does anyone know if this is possible??? do i need to tweak my current standard central locking system or do i need to buy something extra? Appreciate your thoughts guys.. cheers

sorry to hear of your bad experience mate. hopefully your past the worse of it :-) this is why when i purchased my motor.. it was important for me to buy private and one that the previous owner had for a while and maintained.. naturally thank god its perfect. i paid a little more than what some of the others were going for.. but i was fine with couple hundred more for a lower mileage well looked after model. also with regards to garages.. i know so many people who will point refuse to buy a car from london..especially from a Garage in london.. all them wide boys!! Hi All, can anyone please advise if replacing front discs, pads and a driver side calipher are a big job or complicated to do? i have to replace mine.. so wanted to know how much on average a non lexus garage should charge? also cars only done 70k miles.. and the discs need replacing.. this is a bit early no? I would have thought the discs would have lasted a little longer...:-S thoughts welcome. Izzy

hi guys, just a quick one - can anyone please advise what are the symptoms of a clutch on its way out? would this affect the gears? i.e. harder to put into gear and clunky? advice appreciated. ta Izzy

I’m at a bit of a loss as to what to do. This maybe a strange place to flag such a personal matter up but you all seem like a pretty level headed lot so I thought I’d cast the net and see what advice I got. Ok, deep breath….. For sometime now I've suspected that my mrs may be having an affair. You know the sort of thing. The phone rings, I answer, someone hangs up. Recently she has started going out 'with the girls' a lot and when I ask which girls it's always "Just some friends, you don't know them". I always used to keep an eye out for her taxi coming home but now she always walks up to the house although I can hear a car setting off as if she has just got out of one around the corner. The other day I picked up her mobile, just to see what time it was, and she went crazy, screaming at me that I should never touch her phone again and why was I checking up on her. Anyway, I have never approached the subject with her. I kind of think deep down I don't really want to know the truth. But then last night she went out again and I decided that I would check up on her. Around the time she was due home I decided to hide behind my car which I knew would give me a good view of the whole street so I could see which car she got out of on her return. It was whilst crouched behind my car that I noticed rust around my rear wheel arch. So, …. do you think I should take it into a body repair shop or should I buy some stuff from Halfords and try to repair it myself???

Anyone having issues with their Grom Ipod adapter ... with their Ipo TOUCH? ive just installed OS 4.0 and the playlists dont work anymore.. help??? advice??

Jomo mate, ive got the exct same issue now.. my playlists wont work.. and the stereo sometimes picks them up and sometimes has a while to think about to .. only to not work in the end. any solutions?

Hi Guys, i hope everyone is well. i just wanted to say .. i ordered the grom ipod adapter yesterday and installed it today. just a few questions.. maybe im just hearing things.. but can anyone here a hiss when they playing their music through their grom adapter? also how do i get to run that 10 sec track scan? i tried it.. but didnt work :-S also im guessing the sound quality would increase the newer the ipod.. such as the latest itouch? im using the first generation mini ipod... and im sure im not getting the best sound because it is OLLLDDDDDD!!!?!?!?!??! apart from that im very happy that i got it .... sorted! :-) thanks in adv Izzy
