Thanks for the offer , I fitted the pads this morning only a 15 min job.. just wanted to make sure there were no electric pumps on the brake systwem . As the missus has SL500 Merc and if you push the pistons back in the calipers to fit new pads it ruins the electric pump and you end uop with a £1000 bill :shutit:

Thanks for the links, I have had a look , most of the info refers to the IS models, but it looks just a normal 10 min job to swop the pads , no electric pumps to worry about..I will get on the case tomorrow and get them swopped Thanks again Tim

My 2006 GS300 SE will require brake pads soon , is there any special eqipment required for this ? or is it a straight forward job..ie is there any electric pumps etc (like on Meredes ) to be wary of ? Thanks in advance of any help :)

I have recently bought a 300Se 2006. my phone connects up to the bluetooth system OK , then seems to lose it ??? Is it the phone at fault ? it is a Nokia 6230..I want an upgrade on the phone what is a good phone that will work the bluetooth system best on the Lexus ??
