  1. I have ordered the exact device from the exact place almost two weeks ago :) Mine was shipped from China today and I home I'll receive it until the end of the next week, so maybe in 7-10 days I can test it on my 99' IS 200 with Windows Vista. P.S. I suggest that that device can be connected to the USB port of any Windows CE based navigation system (most of the chinese are) and the data can be readed real-time with a software. Never tried it actually but that's one of the purposes that I bought the device instead of getting it from a friend when I need it.
  2. Hey guys! I'm currently in the USA and I ordered the original sat nav housing with all the parts required. I don't have navigation on my IS 200 and the OEM navigation software coverage for Bulgaria is pretty poor so I want to implement an aftermarket GPS device in the nav housing. However, I don't really know which is the best device on the market that will fit the oem housing and look good in it. I want it to support the iGo software (I think it's the best on market), I prefer it to have video and mp3 player and it has to have AV input because I'm planning on installing reverse camera in the number plate like that one: http://img265.imageshack.us/img265/2576/10381.jpg Thanks in advance for your advices! Cheers from sunny California, Murry
  3. Does anybody know where I can buy a 3 button unit? On the web I could only find plastic housings excluding buttons.
  4. I'm from The 7 Hills City (Plovdiv), Bulgaria. Lexus IS and Rover, both 200 :)
  5. I suggest most of us are south of Norway, so I seriously doubt :) Max -15° here and it didn't happen for years.
  6. That's weird. Mine are pretty fine. However, I didn't yet tried if they blind the drivers in front of me as I bought mine a few days ago. I hope that's not it. Anyway, I still think that OEM headlights with normal bulbs are much better than a cheap chinese HID kit without optics. Had expirience with a few cars until now.
  7. Manual - I love to drive, not to be a luggage :) However, if I was making many urban miles I guess my preference would be automatic.
  8. I had an expensive HID kit on my previous car with headlights with optics in it (I don't know if that's the right english word for it, surry guys). However, I kind of feel like the Lexus OEM headlights with normal bulbs feel better on my eyes and make the visibillity in the winter season much more safe. I mean, you all know what 6000 HID kit makes you see in a rain or, god save us, fog. Almost nothing (compared to the normal bulbs I mean). That's my personal opinion off course.
  9. Thank you, guys. I just ordered the shock absorbers from Bazza. P.S. My german is not only bad, when a few years ago they tried to teach me german in school in the end of the two-year class the teacher told me "If you want to take this class, all I want you to learn is the following phrase: Spreche sie deutstch nicht!". And I'm not even sure if I'm writing it the right way... :)
  10. Hey guys, first I'd like to say "Hi" from Bulgaria. Just bought an IS 200 yesterday. However, my shock absorbers need to be replaced because they life is almost over. Actually only two of them, but one in front and one in rear, so I have to change 4x1. Unfortunely the local Toyota (and Lexus) dealer offers them for 350 EUR each (like 320 pounds I believe) which is quite a huge amount for a shock absorber of almost a 10 year old car. Do you have any idea where I can order them online? I saw only one company selling some in ebay but they ship only to UK. Thanks in advance for your help!
