  2. Hi all, can someone please tell the bulb type for the cigarette lighter on an Is 200? Thanks very much.
  3. I already had the carpet and gear stick surround up looking for the other end of the cable from the switch, so I ran the wire along the surround then across under the carpet to the seat.
  4. I just had the very same problem with my is200s. I had the loom behind the dash but nothing the other end to plug into the seats to provide power for the heat. In the end I spliced into the red/blue wire on each switch and fed it straight to the red/blue on the seats. Hope this solves your problem so you can enjoy a warm back side!
  5. Hi everyone, Im in the process of fitting leather heated seats and have got everything working apart from the heat, as I dont know what wires do what. Ive got the looms and switches plugged in but I cannot locate the other end of the wires to connect to my seat. There is a red and blue wire free on my seat and there is a red and blue coming out of my switch. Should I connect the two? Many thanks.
  6. I've got the wiring loom at the heated switch in the dash but i cannot find the other end under the seat. I've got an s model. Can I simply connect the red & black wire coming out of the switch to the red & black under my seat? Everything else is wired and working except for the heated elements. Thank for any advice folks.
  7. Somebody is selling these for an absolute bargain on ebay- 250591161325 Check it out
  8. Hi, thanks. Was your housing the 5.4" or the 7", and if it was the 7" what model sony did you use? I'm a real noob at modding so am looking for a sat nav that will fit into the 7" frame without further adjustments. It is 5.4". I used the sony nav-u93 which measures in at 4.8" but im sure people have found a way to fit it into the 7" housing or on the other hand perhaps you will be better off with this- https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=6389&ra=true The only downside is that it is a lot more expensive. Its your choice!
  9. I replaced mine with a sony unit, check out this link as it will have everything you'll need to know about fitting it or another sat nav. http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...showtopic=48020
  10. Check you are not missing the strips of plastic that run down the side of the roof, I was on my lexus and I didnt notice until one day i sat in the back!
  11. I had an error one message on my lexus when I bought it so I took the stereo apart and cleaned the lens with a cotton wool bud dipped in lens cleaner solution. Dont be afraid to push quite firmly down on to the lens as mine was covered in a thick dry film of dirt and needed a bit of pressure to get it off.
